We truly cannot say enough good things about Henderson Acres!!!

Before settling on Henderson Acres, we scoured the Knot, Wedding Wire, Here Comes the Guide, and Vrbo/AirBnb, we searched Google Maps, and even asked ChatGPT to find all the venues in the area with mountain views. What we found was the views at Henderson Acres were among the best, and compared to other venues, the price was better, location *significantly* more convenient, and Brett (the owner) the most helpful and hands-on. Compared to other venues, Henderson Acres is also a lot more flexible (e.g. BYOB), which allowed us to make our dream wedding a reality within our budget.

Throughout the planning process, we continued to be SO grateful we picked Henderson Acres. We had multiple phone calls with Brett, sent him too many texts to count, and asked him what seems like a million questions -- all of which he responded to quickly, kindly, and helpfully. We used their furniture package for our day and highly recommend. It was super nice to show up in the morning with the tables, chairs, and linens already set up.

Huge bonus - they recently installed a custom retractable ceiling with walls that goes over the reception deck in just a minute or so. If the weather is good, you can't even tell it's there. And even when the ceiling and walls are out, it still looks beautiful and you get mountain views. It was awesome that we didn't need to invest in a tent rental and had a super convenient, no-stress rain back-up option (that we also luckily didn't have to resort to - the weather was beautiful).

On the day of the wedding, Brett and his team continued to be so helpful. A week later and our family members are still remarking at how awesome they were, and how they struck a really good balance of being around to help while also letting us have the space.

Our guests were in awe of how beautiful and well-done the venue was inside and out. Brett and his wife have put an incredible amount of work and thought into the home, and it was the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. That the venue is so close to downtown Asheville made it a great weekend for people with varying interests.

Henderson Acres is truly beyond anything we could’ve hoped for with our wedding venue. First their actual outdoor space and house is so beautiful it is straight out of a magazine picture perfect. The decor and stone within the house is such an elevated look we were in awe of. They are constantly adding things to the space and not to add things you need to pay for but to offer plenty of things for you to enjoy to use during your day. For instance there was several items of decor we used from them that we decided day of to use and the flexibility of that is incredible. They have a reasonably priced furniture package that their venue staff helps set up on wedding day and they have a retractable tent in case of inclement weather. Next the staff is absolutely incredible. Seriously beyond kind, helpful, responsive, and authentically caring. Planning the wedding was a dream with them, and the staff the day of was beyond kind and helpful ensuring the day ran smoothly. An example, we had one guest who was in a wheelchair and had to have an uber come to the venue for pick up/drop off - the staff without being asked drove to the bottom of the driveway waited for the uber and personally escorted them to the top. That kind of hospitality was noticed by our guests who raved about their kindness. I could write about so many more amazing things this venue has to offer. We received countless (truly countless) compliments on this venue and the venue staff from the beauty of the space to the kindness and authentic care everyone felt. I think there is something special about a family owned business and this venue is a prime example of it! Without a doubt the best decision we made in our wedding planning was booking Henderson Acres after so much searching - couldn’t recommend more!!!

We recently had our wedding at Henderson Acres and I can’t tell you enough how grateful we are to have done so. We knew a few things about our wedding when looking for a venue. We wanted a simple ceremony with only our closest, BUT we wanted a location that whole-heartedly resonated with both of us. We love the mountains so I was initially drawn to H.A. for that. We took our first visit to this location in the spring of this year and immediately fell in love. The house is a stunning, uniquely renovated, incredibly comfortable home situated in the middle of the blue ridge mountains. As soon as we saw the view, we knew we had to book it. I can’t wait to get more photos back of the actual venue to show you just how beautiful it is. Brett and Brandi were so attentive and helpful during the planning process and the day-of. Their entire staff was thoughtful, attentive, and so kind to our family. They thought of every detail and prepared our the venue for our wedding so perfectly. Every space you need is there, from the beautiful ceremony walkway to the full bar. We got so many compliments from both guests and vendors. Can’t recommend Henderson Acres enough ❤️
