Great experience!

Heidi is absolutely amazing!

I cannot say enough good things about Heidi! If you have the opportunity to work with her, I strongly suggest you leap at it! My fiance (now husband) and I were a little less than two months from our wedding when we found Heidi. I don't know if it was an oversight on my part, but I thought we the venue had a day of event coordinator (apparently they are only schedule events). I was a bit overwhelmed when I found this out. We wanted our family to relax and enjoy the wedding. I reached out to many coordinators and most didn't do just day of event coordinating or they were unavailable. One of them gave me Heidi's name and I'm so glad they did! She was available and able to do day of coordination (don't take her availability as a warning-she was coming back from being off for a bit and it was lucky for us we caught her at that time). When I first consulted with her on the phone, I knew she was the right fit. Our wedding reception was a bit non-conventional (only a reception-we had our wedding the night before with immediate family) and she was truly open to our concept and non-judgmental (if you can imagine some of the people we talked with were not so open). Her fee was very reasonable as well. In less than 2 months, Heidi helped us pull everything together. She is extremely detail-oriented. She thought of things I never would have imagined thinking of and kept me on track. We met with her once and were able to do everything else via e-mail. When it came time for the reception, she was an absolute rockstar. She brought her mother to help as well (absolutely love that this was a family effort). We only had a short period of time to set up and take down (which was a huge source of anxiety for me) and she got everything done beautifully. She made sure to take pictures of all of our decorations and shared them with us. She helped our reception flow wonderfully. When things didn't happen as we scheduled, she was so flexible and would turn lemons into lemonade and make something else amazing happen. And the unexpected things were some of our favorite parts. Because of Heidi's help and hard work, we had an absolutely perfect reception and made so many beautiful memories. Even though we only worked with Heidi for a short period of time, I feel like I've known her for years (she is just that kind of person) and we are so glad she was a part of our special day.

Working with Heidi was the best decision I could have made for my wedding. She guaranteed a stress free wedding day, and she delivered! At no point during the day were we worried about anything out of place. Heidi coordinated all of our various vendors with ease and professionalism. I would recommend Heidi to anyone looking to "actually" enjoy their wedding.

I cannot say enough about Heidi Lauren. Her efforts were essential to our wedding. Heidi possesses incredible creativity, flexibility, insight, and determination, which allowed my wife and me to enjoy our day knowing that everything was in good hands. To put it quite simply, without Heidi our wedding would not have been a success!

My intention was to plan the entire wedding myself and didn't think about the fact that having someone at least for the day-of would be a smart idea. After speaking with some friends, I decided to look for a day-of coordinator. Heidi was exactly what I was looking for and more! She was very easy to work with from the beginning to the end; she has a great personality and is very professional. Heidi started working with us a few months before the wedding to help us make a timeline and get all the contact information for our vendors and bridal party. Even though she was technically the day-of coordinator, she was extremely helpful way before the day of the wedding. She was able to help me answer a lot of questions about planning and making sure that all my vendors were on the same page. She also was able to help me create my vision by finding decorations and ideas on her own time.
The week of the wedding, Heidi took over communication with all of my vendors. This was such a great help and stress reliever. She also checked up on me to make sure everything was going smoothly.
Heidi was there to help during the rehearsal. She made sure everyone knew their order and exactly what they should be doing.
Heidi was extremely helpful the day of the wedding. She was able to help organize everyone, keep people on schedule and on track, get all the vendors set up, make sure everything went smoothly for the ceremony, help with the room flip for the reception, make sure everything was smooth for the reception and make sure that the exit went smoothly. She also checked on me frequently to make sure that I had everything I needed. I'm not sure if everything went smoothly, but at least from my perspective, everything went so smoothly I didn't even know that vendors were around. Things were just set up and perfect by the time I saw everything. It was amazing!
Heidi was wonderful to work with and I can't imagine us having pulled off the wedding without her.

While I opted not to have a wedding planner, I hired Heidi to set up and take down all of the decor that I had acquired for my wedding. I didn't feel comfortable or trusting to hand this important task off to a family member. The decor included pieces for centerpieces for 18 tables, plus decorative tables. Meeting with Heidi before the wedding put me at ease. I knew all of the centerpieces I had pulled together would be arranged with careful detail and precision. She was so organized, professional, not to mention fun and easy to get along with! I knew by hiring her, I wouldn't have to worry about how my wedding decor would look. It turned out amazing, even better than I envisioned! Heidi took everything down and delivered it to my house after the wedding. I didn't have to worry about a thing, which was amazing for this type A bride! If you're on the fence about hiring a wedding planner or someone to help with your wedding decor, pick Heidi!!

We would absolutely consider booking Heidi as your wedding coordinator. We planned our 125-guest wedding ourselves and pondered the added value of a Day-of coordinator. We're pretty well organized and cost-conscious, and we are very glad we invested in Heidi's services. This is a time you want to enjoy with friends and family and not be a "project manager" at your own party. Heidi is very experienced, detail-oriented, and communicates effectively and clearly. She knows the ins and outs of dealing with schedules, vendors, timing of events, foreseeing and managing crises - no matter how trivial or major - all while keeping an amazingly cool head (we didn't have any crises, to her credit). This is likely your one and only time to plan and enjoy a wedding at the same time - it would be very worthwhile to engage Heidi and her wealth of experience.

Heidi is wonderful! My (now) husband and I didn't think we needed a planner until we got into crunch time in the last few months before our wedding. We were so grateful to have Heidi recommended to us by another planner. We absolutely could not have pulled off our day without her!! For me, Heidi is the perfect type of planner: she is on top of her details, responsive to calls and emails, very capable of putting out fires and calming people down....all this PLUS a very laid-back, relaxed personality. I've been at weddings where the planners have very high-stress personalities, and having someone like that would have made me more anxious instead of less. Heidi was always calm, always smiling. Every time I saw her on my wedding day, I felt at ease. We trusted her 100%. She even went the extra mile by keeping our top cake layer and other reception items after the reception was over--they were supposed to get handed off to a parent, which didn't happen. She took everything home with her that night and then drove all the way back to our hotel the next day to drop everything off with my in-laws. I couldn't recommend her more highly to anyone looking for a day-off coordinator. I would do it all over again with her in a heartbeat!

When my now-husband and I began the wedding planning process, we really had no idea what were were doing. We had a limited budget and very little planning savvy between the two of us. I had always thought wedding planners were for large "fancy" weddings, but we were so lucky to have found Heidi to help us plan our special day. Heidi was very attentive, highly professional, and really supportive throughout the entire process. She has several great connections that helped us squeeze some awesome things into our small budget. I've heard some horror stories from my friends about stress while they were wedding planning, but Heidi really made it all quite smooth and fun. Weddings large and small, I highly recommend Heidi Lauren Events!
