My name is Nancy, and I live in the Port Townsend, WA area. I have 23 years of experience officiating weddings, wedding renewals, memorials, baby dedications, animal blessings, and other occasions-- specializing in weddings. They have been done in traditional and non-traditional ways, indoors, and outdoors, and included rituals such as hand fasting. Since I have lived here 35 years, I am very familar with the region, and can recommend some wonderful venues.

I like to see the ceremony "led" by the couple, with a hands on approach, but also agreeable to take care of any and all of the service. Each one is completely personalized, exactly reflecting the wishes and feelings of the couple. They can be as short as five minutes, or as long as 45. I am willing to travel within my area, and open to all kinds of beliefs and rituals--with religious references or none. Adding elements such as music, readings, guest involvement is welcome. A flexible schedule allows me to accomodate elopements with short notice. I have experience in same sex marriages, offer reasonable rates, and consider myself a kind, loving soul with a good sense of humor!
