We used Heart Pine Planning for our October 2020 wedding at Howe Farms and could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator! Rachel was always available for questions and was open to all of our ideas. She helped the day go smoothly and we had the most perfect wedding thanks to Rachel! Rachel with Heart Pine Planning was the most incredible planner for our February wedding in Malibu, California. We feel so fortunate to have signed up with Rachel for the “month of” wedding planning package. She had come to us highly recommended and we heard such great things about her quality of services that even though it was out of state for her, she expressed such enthusiasm for our big day during our initial zoom consultation. Noting she is also the owner, me and my now wife are forever grateful for having her there to make sure everything went as smoothly as it should and making our day feel extra special.

The time zone difference and distance was never an issue as she always made herself available when we needed her, especially closer to our wedding date when we would panic over the smallest things. She was always there to comfort us and made sure everything went as planned.

Rachel is so sweet and lovely and goes the extra mile to make sure your special day goes as perfect and dreamy as you’d imagined. She listens to your concerns and thinks everything through so you don’t have to. She pays attention to every little detail and somehow manages to make a note of the smallest things. Rachel contacted all of our vendors, joined all of our vendor calls, set up separate calls with them, compiled and coordinated a very detailed timeline with everyone. It is because of her exceptional communication skills and diligence, that our venue and vendors honored what was originally listed in our contracts and discussed previously. Rachel taught us so much about wedding etiquettes and managed to help us plan a modern, rustic, romantic wedding with a touch of all traditional details that we cared for.

All of our vendors enjoyed working with Rachel and trusted her to run the show. This was sincerely amazing to see, and made us feel comfortable and secure for our big day. Her interpersonal and communication skills really shined through while dealing with every vendor under the sun including the venue. Like every wedding, issues do arise, but Rachel was there to put out every fire and not a single guest noticed anything, but instead would praise our wedding being one of the best they’ve ever been to.

Rachel arrived in Malibu a few days early where we had our wedding, and joined us in-person for the meetings, and rehearsal with the venue and bridal party. Rachel thought about every extra table and furniture we needed for our and other vendors’ setups and coordinated all of that with the venue ahead of time. When she arrived at the venue she visualized all setups so perfectly and suggested layouts that hadn’t been done before, yet couldn't be more perfect.

On the big day, besides managing all vendors and making sure the timeline was met, Rachel coordinated all shuttles for the bridal party, and set up all the displays, tables with place cards and favors, desserts, photo booth and coordinated every vendor we had to work together in the most timely manner. Seriously many LA/SoCal planners do not include setup services, or would charge thousands of dollars extra for it. I would love to also note she has such incredible patience to manage every concern we brought up, every detailed issue that arises and never had a sweat. She had such a wonderfully positive attitude from start to finish. We are still amazed how she single-handedly handled the logistics of our 125 Guest Count out-of-state Wedding.

Knowing we got lucky for her time as she is the owner of Heart Pine Planning, we would absolutely trust any one of her planners as she clearly has very trustworthy judgment. The most amazing team to work with! The decor turned out even better than I imagined it! Everything went so smoothly! You girls were a complete joy to work with!
