Right from the start, their preferred vendor list made the beginning stages of wedding planning a lot less daunting. Having the reassurance that their vendors have been extensively vetted and are very familiar with the venue gave us a lot of confidence that our wedding would go smoothly. Their online portal was great to use and was a big help to us to verify that we had everything planned properly. Stephanie, Mackenzie, Brain, and the rest of the HMP staff were very responsive and flexible in helping us design our perfect wedding. As we did most of the planning while living out of state, it was so nice to work with these amazing people who made things so easy for us. We could not imagine a more perfect venue than Harvest Moon Pond, we received so many compliments on how amazing it is. We recommend HMP to anyone and everyone.

Booking our wedding at HMP was the first of many great decisions we made in planning our wedding. All the following great decisions we made were thanks to their amazing list of preferred vendors. With help from HMP, we assembled a vendor team that was easy, fun, and professional to work with. HMP along with the rest of our vendors helped us to navigate a number of issues that came up our wedding week, including pivoting to an indoor ceremony at the last minute, and we remain so grateful for their flexibility and kindness. Our friends and family told us all night what a beautiful venue we had found, and what kind folks were around on the day of the wedding to help it go off without a hitch. Booking our wedding with Harvest Moon Pond was the best decision we made. I fell in love with the venue and the team from the moment I toured. Our day was absolutely perfect and there were so many guests that have told us it was the BEST wedding experience they have ever been to. The Harvest Moon Pond staff treated us like family every step of the way through 18 months of planning and helped make our day so perfect. The venue is breathtakingly beautiful and we couldn't have imagined a more beautiful setting for our wedding. The lush greenery, beautiful willow tree (under which we got married), warmth of the barn, and quiet and intimate setting, on a crisp cloudy fall day, set the mood for a cozy and memorable event. What makes this venue truly special is the owners Stephanie and Brian who have retained the charm of this rustic setting while providing all necessary modern amenities (central air in the barn, impeccably clean and well maintained restroom and grounds). Shout out to Stephanie for patiently answering our many questions, providing helpful resources and guidance throughout the process, being incredibly organized, and just an awesome person to work with all around. Although Stephanie has helped organize so many weddings at Harvest Moon Pond, I appreciate her kindness and consideration to each couple tying the knot there and respecting how important and special the day is to them. She helped us coordinate a fun fusion of our Indian and American cultures by accommodating more than one caterer. She was also accommodating of our vision to add incandescent lighting that filled the barn with a warm glow. We cannot thank you enough!

In a venue, we wanted versatility with extremely high (almost unrealistic) expectations. We wanted it all - a private barn/country setting with history, but new/modern updates without losing the original charm; somewhere between downtown Madison and the Wisconsin Dells; different locations to choose from for the ceremony that felt unique from the reception area, yet still on-site; indoor and outdoor social settings for guests to experience (i.e. bar, patio, fireplace, pond, walking path, etc.); a space large enough to accommodate up to 200 guests, but small enough to feel cozy and inviting; parking; easy access for vendors (i.e. full kitchen and simple transitions throughout the day/night); endless photo backdrop options regardless of weather; but ultimately, a venue that was beautiful all on its own without a single piece of décor. In addition, our "checklist" of "wants or perks" (not needs/must-haves), were also checked off of our long list. We found ALL of this and more in Harvest Moon Pond. Owners, Stephanie and Brian are organized, communicative, honest, natural problem-solvers, and incredible to work with in every aspect. They pour every bit of creative energy they have into improving an already perfect wedding venue and are always proactively seeking feedback. Throughout the wedding planning process, we became so close with Stephanie and Brian that not having them at our wedding day would have felt like a close friend or family member RSVP'd with their regrets. Thankfully their schedule allowed for both of them to be present on our most special day and we wouldn't have wanted it any other way! We are beyond lucky to have found Harvest Moon Pond as a physical location, but also to have found the entire team behind making it what it is today.

Ohh.. this place, these people, and the day you’ll have if you book here. I can’t say enough about this venue and my experience at HMP. What an absolute dream come true. I hired an event planner for my wedding and HMP was very accommodating in meeting our requests to change things up and really
allowed us to make this day solely about us and bring our own vision to life. The compliments on the venue alone have not let up. All of my guests were so amazed by this place. Stephanie and Brian are both so fun to work with and are so kind. Stephanie takes some behind the scene pics during the day and sends them to the bride.. which is just so fun to see as the day really does go by much too fast. Elena was also such a delight to work with. She’s so sweet and jumps in to help in anyway she can. My only “complaint” would be that no one told me I’d feel SO attached to this place, this crew, and the memories they helped me make. I still get quite emotional just thinking about it all. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Harvest Moon Pond. You will forever be so very special to us.

We changed our venue a few months before our date, and I am so glad that someone cancelled on our date. Harvest Moon Pond is gorgeous everywhere. The barn is in great shape and even with the small amount of decorations we did. The grounds are spectacular. We did our ceremony under the willow trees, took photos in different spots, and had a lot of friends and family spend time on the patio. Stephanie and Elena are fantastic and we had zero issues during booking and the day of. We highly recommend getting married here!

My husband and I had visited a few other venues, but none of them had exactly what we were looking for. We had gone to a wedding at Harvest Moon Pond before and decided to check it out for our wedding. Although we really wanted to have an outdoor ceremony under the beautiful willow trees, it ended up raining, but Stephanie and the staff at Harvest Moon Pond are so encouraging and helpful we were able to quickly set everything up in the loft and have it look even more beautiful than I could've imagined.
I 100% love Harvest Moon Pond and am so glad my husband and I decided to get married there!
