Wonderful venue, great people to work with and beautiful views!

My husband and I got married there in June 2019 and the day was absolutely perfect! Mary and Dennis were on call the day of to see if I needed to switch ceremony from outside to inside due to the weather (luckily we didn't have to). They supported all my needs and questions promptly. The day of, they had staff helping transport guests on a golf cart from parking area to barn. The next day when we had to clean up decorations, Dennis was there helping too which was awesome! Oh forgot, the thing I loved most about renting this venue was that you got it to yourself Friday, Saturday AND Sunday! So glad I didn't have to set up or take down the day of my wedding!! Overall, I highly recommend the Barn at Windy Pine!!

Venue was clean and they even helped us clean up the next morning. They were helpful and answered any questions we had beforehand. Be prepared for them to stick around during your event.

I loved the way the venue looked for my pictures. It’s gorgeous, and awesome that the cars are well away from the photos. I also really appreciated the flexibility with vendors - you can use pretty much anyone you’d like.

Things I didn’t like - the owners didn’t want to spray for wasps even after I was stung. The dismissive attitude of and criticism by one of the owners when I requested putting the bar inside the barn because it was going to be in the 40s during the reception.

The venue is a great budget option, but have a thick skin, demand what you want, and be ready for them to decide that the contract says something different than the copy you have, especially if they decide to start hosting weddings on another day after you’ve signed your contract.

I would not recommend this wedding venue due to the fact that the owners are inconsistent. They are not consistent. They also made changes to the venue without notifying us, which were thankfully upgrades. Thankfully they hired wonderful people to work our wedding, since they were out of the county. The people they hired were outstanding to work with. They did only told us six weeks our from our wedding date that other people would be working the venue when they originally stated they were working the wedding and then were extremely hesitant to give us their names and contact numbers. I also felt like they were condescending to our wedding planner who was only trying to get consistent answers out of them. If you choose to hire them, I recommend getting what they say in writing and possibly request the John and Kendra work your wedding. They were excellent to work with. Overall the venue is nice and they have real bathrooms, unlike many barn venues. The two side walls of the venue are plywood, so I did drape them because it did not look very nice. The driveway is gravel and parking is behind the house with no clear pathway for guests to get to the barn. We had to create a pathway with lighting. The parking lighting was also a little lacking, so we had a few guests use the led lanterns we purchased to help them find their way. Also know that the venue is not air conditioned and the large ventilating barn fans are loud. I really did not mind this, but we had to turn them off during our ceremony because they were quite noisy. They also give you a very limited bartender list, but the two we hired off the list were decent. Also note that their are not any nice hotels near this venue, but hotel option, which is not the owners fault, but something you should be aware of if you plan on booking.

I tried calling the number they provided several times and have sent messages that are still unread by this vendor for almost a week now. I would have loved to work with them, but I was not even able to leave a voicemail or have any sort of communication with them. Very disappointed.
