We saw Hannah Joy’s Cakes at the Bridal Extravaganza in Houston, where she had the most beautiful and detailed cakes for show! We immediately reached out to her and set up a taste testing at a local Starbucks, where she had so many choices available for us to choose from - all were delicious! She created a draft drawing of a three tier cake with grooved icing and flowers for the Bride, and a Yeti cooler surrounded by water for a fishing theme for the Groom. We were amazed - she can literally create anything you are dreaming of! Our wedding was September 24th and all our guest LOVED her creativity and hard work! She is such a pleasure to work with; so kind and friendly. Highly recommended!!

While I was in the Houston BHLDN store looking at shoes, I happened to notice the pile of Hannah Joy's Cakes flyers and picked one up to take home with me - immediately, her cakes stood out as unique and beautiful, and she appeared willing to work with many different styles and tastes. We met with her very early on in the wedding planning process, and let me tell you, looking forward to what I knew was going to be an AMAZING cake got me through the stress!

Hannah was lovely, professional, and excited to work with us on a unique design from our very first email conversation as we reviewed samples of what we might want for our cake. We were able to meet with her at a Starbucks to sample the cakes, fillings, and icings. She sat down and sketched out a design with us then and there based on the samples we had talked about! We were even able to order cookies with symbols from my husband's favourite video game as a substitute for a groom's cake! All of her flavours were delicious and paired perfectly.

Hannah was easy to communicate with and very responsive to emails; because the venue owner served as our unofficial wedding coordinator, Hannah was on top of calling us the week leading up to the wedding, and working with me and our venue owner to make sure that the cake was delivered on time and situated according to the venue's layout.

I can't recommend Hannah Joy's cakes enough. Their taste is divine, and she will bake you a miniature cake for your 1st anniversary (so you don't have to freeze the top!) as part of her contract. My husband and I are already dreaming of re-tasting our amazing cake!!

Hannah is super easy to work with. Our initial meeting and tasting was at a Starbucks near me! She brought multiple flavor cakes, icings, and fillings and they were all so delicious - making it hard to pick just a few! We did a bride cake, groom cake and a couple sheet cakes for our 250 guest wedding. It was a perfect amount and we were able to get 4 different flavors! The design was out of this world! Bride cake: white buttercream with gold accents - Groom cake: hunting & fishing themed, hand painted, and custom fondant accents! AMAZINGGG!!
