I cannot begin to describe how amazing working with Rachel was! Finding a wedding photographer is overwhelming and such a big decision. Rachel was recommended to us through a friend and I am forever grateful for that! From our first consultation meeting to our actual wedding day, Rachel made my husband and I feel so at ease, comfortable and valued. Rachel is not only incredibly sweet and easy to talk to, but she is extremely talented and SO good at what she does! Being a bride in 2020 was a rollercoaster, to say the least, but Rachel was there every step of the way. She was so responsive to every email, text, phone call, etc. On our big day, Rachel and David were so attentive to our every need, going above and beyond what they were actually hired for. Our photos are more than I ever could have wished for- just magical! Both my husband and I couldn't be more impressed with the quality and detail. Rachel captured the biggest day of our lives in the best way possible and I am so thankful we will forever have these photos to remember it. I truly cannot recommend Rachel enough! We fell in love with Hammitt based on their beautiful light and airy styled portfolio on Instagram and their website. After our engagement session and wedding day we simply have no other words to say than it is just pure art!

From the moment we met Rachel and David it was very clear that they love what they do and do their very best to make sure that your day is exactly how you want it to be! We had coffee with them we shared stories that are special to us and our relationships. We had lots of questions, and we were very impressed because with most husband and wife photographers that we interviewed, it was primarily one of the two that took the lead. However, Rachel and David both took so much ownership, and pride in their work!

Rachel has a wonderful system that allows her to get a summary of the events and create a peaceful atmosphere throughout the wedding day. Last minute, I told David that I wanted to do a first look with my dad and he and Rachel coordinated as if it was already in the plan! We shared laughs and inside jokes on the wedding day and we honestly felt like we had known them forever.

We chose Hammitt Photography after seeing their work on social media and knowing other couples who have used them. We couldn’t be happier with our decision! Rachel and Dave are a dream to work with— they made us feel so comfortable behind the camera (saying a lot for us!) and instructed us to flattering poses. I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Rachel and her husband David! They photographed my wedding day and they were absolutely incredible. They are fun and personable people yet professional at the same time. They were great at organizing bridal party, family, friends, etc for photos when they needed to and were great at keep on schedule with the day as a whole— not to mention, the photos themselves were absolutely stunning!
