Haley and Derrick did an amazing job for our engagement & wedding photos. We're not the most comfortable in front of the cameras but with them, they made it so easy because of their down to earth personalities and professionalism. I choose Haley because of her style of photography, moody and romantic. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great photographer!

Both my husband and I are not used to being photographed, and Haley was fantastic at making us feel comfortable and beautiful! It felt like we were spending time with a friend, and we were able to relax around her. She captured some of the most beautiful memories for us! Highly recommend!

Where to even start. Haley shot our wedding on 12/4/21 and we could not have survived without her and her husband as her second shooter! She truly went above and beyond for us, even stepping in on tasks, helping bridesmaids, and creating comfortable, easy conversation. She kept our day about us, and made sure to include every picture we wanted and more. The candid, detail, and portraits were all so beautiful, and truly showed our personalities and our love for each other. She was extremely punctual, arrived exactly on time, and even checked with us before leaving to make sure there were no other shots that we wanted. I was disappointed at first when I decided not to do outdoor photos (December wedding, WAY too cold for that!) but the photos Haley took right in the hotel lobby were so beautiful and breathtaking, any disappointment went right out the door. I could go on and on. On every aspect, from pricing to personality, I cannot recommend Haley more! If you're looking to have fun, and be left breathless with beautiful photos, Haley is your girl

Haley was fantastic to work with! Her and her husband were so nice and easy going to work with; it made our engagement picture day and wedding day enjoyable. I knew she was perfect for us when I saw her previous work; we wanted to have our day captured and not too posey. Also, I appreciated that she asked what our wedding party’s pronouns are; I know that a few members of our bridal party liked that. Haley was great with bouncing off ideas with too, like when I suggested a couple of smoke bombs in some pumpkins for a few photos, and they turned out great! And last and not least, let’s talk about Haley’s speed with getting the photos to us – she gave us a preview the night of our wedding! And then the rest about less then 4 weeks after that and they turned out beautiful! Haley’s speed and quality was the cherry on the top.

I cannot recommend Haley enough! She is incredibly talented but also so sweet, kind and has the ability to make everyone feel comfortable while handling a hectic wedding day with such grace. Haley is the true definition of professional FUN! She was beyond amazing! She truly wanted to get in depth on what we truly envisioned for our big day in our first meeting. I could not picture having anyone else, she presents herself so professional but yet she has such a personality that it's more like a best friend want your day to be spectacular. She made us feel comfortable and always asked if there was anything she could do to help. She knows what shots to take and how to assist in staging those who are not so sure how to take a picture. She will not disappoint! I can't wait to use her for all my photography needs!

I am writing this review to share my honest experience with Haley Eaglestar photography. While we were excited to work with Haley, the process following our May 10, 2025 wedding has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I will preface the editing and quality of how the photos turned out were nice, unfortunately, that was not enough as detailed below. During our wedding, Haley provided zero direction after we told was something we needed. She also did not help arrange our wedding party for group shots, so some people were facing straight on, some tuned at an angle and uneven spacing in between due to her lack of direction. We also didn’t get many group shots outside of just standing in a line because she wasn’t setting up any good group shots. After the ceremony, she just stood there while I had to wrangle my own guests and family for group shots, which was incredibly frustrating. My husband’s entire extended family (~50 people) got a picture and no one told me it was happening which should’ve been her job or delegate someone to do it. Her lack of professional foresight resulted in wedding party photos being ruined by wind because she didn't suggest moving to a different spot so none of the photos at that spot turned out well. We only went to 2 spots and that was the only spot we took individual shots with the wedding party. Most devastatingly, she failed to capture numerous key combinations from the list I provided, including the most important shot of the day: my husband’s reaction to me walking down the aisle. The communication, or lack thereof, has been beyond unprofessional. My previews were late based on the contract, and when I emailed her on August 18 to ask where my full gallery was, she ignored me completely for over a month. She finally posted the photos on September 25 without ever acknowledging my email or providing an update. This pattern continued when I reached out in October 2025 asking about the multiple missing images and after she told me she would look into it, I was ghosted for nearly six months until I followed up again in March. When she responded, she said she had been out due to mental heath. However, during that exact timeframe, I saw her active on Instagram, acknowledging that the wedding season had slowed down and soliciting new business. It is incredibly manipulative to claim a total inability to communicate as an excuse for ignoring a paid-in-full client while simultaneously hunting for new ones on social media. As of today, May 5, 2026, Haley has failed to deliver the raw files and the $1,000 refund installment she agreed to in writing to resolve this. She even sent me photos of her laptop screen as "proof" of work instead of actually delivering the files. If you value clear communication, timely delivery, or a photographer that provides any direction, I would look elsewhere.
