Hair by BK is a hair stylist serving couples in Saint Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota. This stylist aims to be a hair perfectionist and hairspray queen to ensure you look flawless on your big day.

Lead stylist, Brittany Kelly, considers herself a beauty guru, having done hair for over 350 weddings since entering the industry in 2012. As a recent bride, Brittany knows all the work that goes into your wedding and loves being a timeline coordinator to ensure your hair is perfect.

Thank you!!! We loved our hair!

Brittany with Hair by BK was one of my absolute favorite vendors from my November wedding! She was one of my first vendors I booked and was so responsive and easy to talk to during the whole year of wedding planning- any changes that needed to be made or any updates I had were easily made! This was the first time I have ever loved my hair when having it done professionally, Brittany listened to exactly what I was wanting and made it happen even with all of my hair. My mom, grandma and bridesmaids all looked incredible. Brittany is amazingly fast and efficient! Couldn’t recommend more!!!

BK is the best!

I hired Brittany for my wedding after being a bridesmaid in another wedding that she worked with. She is super responsive, so friendly, and feels like part of the wedding party. My curls lasted through dancing all night (and into the next day, haha). Thank you, BK!!

Brittany was amazing!

Brittany did the hair for myself and 7 other members of my wedding party. She was so nice and easy to work with. She listened to the things I wanted changed from my trial and my hair turned out beautiful and so did my bridesmaids! The volume and curls also held in my hair all night which was amazing. My bridesmaids all commented on how happy they were with how their hair turned out as we have all had other unfortunate times when we paid to get our hair done but it just didn't turn out great. I couldn't recommend her enough!

A Complete Dream!

Hiring Brittany as a part of our vendor team is one of the best decisions we made! As a hairstylist, Brittany is incredibly talented and efficient. She handles large wedding parties with ease and makes sure that everyone gets exactly what they're envisioning. I loved that everyone in my wedding party had a different look that matched their personality. Brittany listens carefully, is very detail oriented, cares about her clients, and ensures that everyone's hair is perfect for your day. I cannot recommend her enough!

Wedding hair

Brittany did my hair for my wedding day along with 5 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and 2 flower girls. She was absolutely amazing and such a perfect stylist for me and my girls! Brittany is so quick at getting everyone’s hair done but also does amazing work and ensures everyone’s hair will stay intact throughout the day/night. Her positive attitude and energy had all of us ready to celebrate! In addition to doing our hair, she assisted me with forming a schedule for the morning. I can’t recommend Brittany enough!

Incredible!!

Brittany is incredible! Not only was I absolutely in love with my hair, but all my bridesmaids loved theirs too! They all had a hairstyle in mind and she brought them to life!! Everyone was so impressed! I couldn’t believe the quality she does and how quick she is able to do it! I could not have been happier with the my wedding hair!!

Recommend BK to all my friends!!

I got married in 2018 and was referred to her by a friend. I was SO thrilled and pleased with how my hair and my bridesmaids hair turned out. BK and her assistant KILLED it and were in and out so timely. My wedding was HOT. Like, one of the hottest days of the year and my hair was half up half down and didn’t budge even though I was dripping sweat. I have a friend getting married and she asked for recommendations and BK was one of the first people I recommended. My friend was lucky enough to book her for 2022 (which BK is all booked up for now)! You will not be disappointed. She takes so much pride in her work and doesn’t make you feel like just a number. Have no hesitations, book her!!

Best of the best!

2023 BRIDES (and beyond!) LISTEN UP because Brittany is already completely booked for 2022, she is that good. She is literally the best of the best, truly an expert. She has her sh*t together and is more organized than anyone I know. She knocked out 7 ladies' hair in 2.5 hours, flawlessly and without breaking a sweat. Myself and all my bridesmaids were obsessed with their hair. Everyone's hair styles remained perfect from 8am-12pm, it was magic.

A must book vendor!

I got the pleasure of working with Brittany for my wedding and my sisters and would recommend to anyone looking for a hair stylist for their wedding day! She is a PRO when it comes to weddings. So organized and knows exactly what to do with the largest of parties with the best timing! Brittany is ALSO so friendly and easy to work with. We gave her minimal direction and 13 up do's -- she delivered the most beautiful looks, ahead of schedule! Easily a favorite vendor of mine and would recommend as a must book!

Favorite vendor

Hair and makeup (Taylor Marie beauty) were my favorite vendors of the day! Brittany was so awesome through the whole process. She was very responsive from the get go and was willing to make any changes from the date I booked her up until the wedding date. She was willing to help in any way to make the day the best it could be! My hair (and my bridesmaids hair) stayed put the whole day and night AND was even in tact the next day after sleeping on it. I felt confident and beautiful and at ease with booking Brittany and I recommend her to all my friends!
