Laura Westrem Artistry

Laura is absolutely AMAZING !!!! This is think the 4-5 time that I have used her for one of our special days in our life !! So fun and yet so understanding of our needs. She does her job with 100% class. I totally recommend her services for all your needs on your special day.

I initially had some “sticker-shock” with the price, but Laura Westrem went above and beyond to ensure I was prepared on my wedding day. She went through two practice runs for the price of one, and even came to my place on a time-crunch. We ended up missing my arm make-up on the wedding day, but we had a little less time from my breakfast and parking, and it didn’t affect too many of my pictures.

In the first rehearsal, at her studio, she demonstrated a few hairstyles, and took lots of pictures for me to see the details and how the make-up appeared in photos. Laura gave me a lovely hairpiece to go with my hairstyle. She even provided some dinner for me, since I came directly from work and stayed a few hours.

The second trial run took place at my apartment (quite a drive from her location), and was on crunch time - before my wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. So, she got some extra practice, and I got to be all made-up for my rehearsal. :) Also during this run-through, Laura gave me items to prepare for my wedding day: teeth-whitening strips, a spare make-up touch-up kit, a special facial mask to hydrate my skin for the night before my wedding, special dots to help clear up my skin, etc. I felt prepared for my wedding.

On my wedding day, she was at the venue early in the morning, where she prepared my hair and make-up, my flower girl’s hair (as contracted), and even my mom’s hair, which took some stress off my mom. Unexpectedly, Laura gave me a few wedding gifts as well, a lovely and thoughtful surprise.

Laura was amazing to work with! She blew my expectations out of the water! I was most worried about my hair and makeup on my wedding day, and she calmed my nerves and ensured it looked exactly as I had dreamed it would!

I hired Laura for my wedding to do my hair and makeup for myself and my 3 bridesmaids and couldn’t be more thankful to have found her! She listened intently to all of my ideas and made them come to life! When we arrived on the scene of my outdoor wedding she was already set up with a warm welcome and helped me to relax. The day was going to be a scorcher at 96 degrees and I was worried about what that would do to my hair and makeup. However, Laura was prepared with all the necessary items to ensure that I would look flawless throughout the day. She has such a sweet and caring personality and I trusted her with my entire “look” for my wedding day. Best decision ! Despite the heat I had no issues with hair or makeup the entire day! I had so many complements on both and I thank Laura so much for that. She knew exactly what I needed to complete my look ( hair extensions, lashes) and to also make me look like just a more beautiful, enhanced version of myself. My hubby absolutely loved the look Laura gave me. My bridesmaids were thrilled with their hair and makeup as well . I highly recommend Laura for any hair and makeup services you need !

Laura did a fantastic job the morning of my mom’s wedding. It was a very hot day and she did a fantastic job putting out hair into gorgeous updos that stayed all day! The makeup was also very well done and lasted all night. On top of that she was very nice and professional. I would definitely use her services again!

Laura was absolutely outstanding! After a less than good experience with another make-up and hair artist, Laura absolutely hit a homerun with my wife's hair and make-up! It was perfection. Her hair was gorgeous without looking over the top and make-up was Stellar and didn't look like she was wearing a thick layer of products. It highlighted all the best features (cheekbones, eyes, lashes, etc). The best part was how much Laura truly cared. From the first phone call to the wedding and even following up after, Laura was a true professional and so fun!

Laura and her staff were very professional and friendly and very helpful in recommending hair and makeup choices for those of us who have no idea what to do!!! Both of my daughters hired Laura and her staff for their weddings . All of us received the personal attention and kindness from all of the artistry staff!!! Highly recommend her services, very professional and talented at what she does!!! She makes you feel very special!!! She’s the best of the best!!!
