Gumbo Pot, based out of San Antonio, Texas, is a wedding catering company. Owners Sakeena and Shawn Price combine their backgrounds to create a culinary fusion of Tex Mex cuisine and traditional New Orleans fare. Sakeena is a classically trained chef who can cook food from all over the world, including Italian, Hawaiian, Mediterranean, and classic American dishes. Cajun is her specialty, however, and she grew up with Creole and traditional Southern food.

Cuisine

The catering team at Gumbo Pot is happy to take care of delivery, setup, and cleanup, to give couples more time to spend with their loved ones. They also offer tastings where to-be-weds can test some of the delicious dishes on offer. This can include vegan and vegetarian options for those with dietary preferences.
