Situated in Saint Francisville, Louisiana, Greenwood Plantation is a mansion wedding-and-event venue. Originally constructed in 1830, the main house burned down in the mid-20th century and had to be carefully reconstructed. The location has been used for a variety of famous film productions, such as Jeepers Creepers III and GI Joe II.

This 300-acre estate contains a number of viable event site options for couples to choose from. Those envisioning a small, more traditional service can hold their ceremony in the Greenwood Chapel. Accommodating up to 50 loved ones, the space displays plenty of natural light and hardwood flooring. Alternatively, couples can choose to set up an outdoor celebration against the backdrop of the main house. Framed all around by large white columns, this symmetrical building features an expansive porch area and large windows. The happy couple can exchange vows before the entrance, with guests observing from the front lawn. Furthermore, the first floor of the mansion can be set up for the festivities, and may also be used for wedding portraits and rehearsal dinners. The wedding party can prepare for the occasion in get-ready rooms on the day and accommodations are available in an on-site bed & breakfast.
