Facilities and Capacity
The extensively refurbished Norman-style manor offers the wedding party a building that successfully marries the old with the new. It’s rustic brickwork, arched windows, several floors, and wrought-iron gates create an authentically vintage atmosphere for everyone to bask in. Here, your DJ can connect to the state of the art audio/visual equipment as the evening’s entertainment begins, while you and your guests relax with a few cold beverages or fine wines.
The Grand Tent provides some 8,000 square feet of space for the extended wedding party to come together. As many as 400 people can be accommodated in this air-conditioned space between the beginning of May and the end of October. From here, access can be gained to the house through a covered gangway.
The Formal Gardens and Terrace provide space for up to 300 guests to be entertained. Here, a trio of fountains, with steps leading down to them, offer plush surroundings for everyone to relax and take in the day’s atmosphere. Additionally, everyone can drink in views of the Little Miami River Valley from here, while the gardens themselves offer a serene green space to take a leisurely stroll.
Greenacres Arts Center is located on 600 acres of grounds, making it a truly remarkable venue that offers ample room for entertaining several hundred guests. Get-ready rooms, available on the site, provide an ideal space for the bridal party and other wedding guests to take a moment for any makeup alterations, or simply as a space to pop a bottle of bubbly in private.
Greenacres Arts Center comes with an open bar that can serve a variety of beverages. House liquor, specialty beer, specialty wine, and much more are each available for you and your guests to savor in a resplendent setting.
Greenacres Arts Center originally began life as property owned by the Green family, before almost 47 acres were purchased by Louis and Louise Nippert in 1949. For almost 40 years, they steadily added plots of land until they started the Greenacres Foundation which was designed to preserve the land and act as a place for education and field trips.
