Working with Janelle and her team was one of the highlights of our wedding. From the initial proposal to coordinating our actual arrangements, she was attentive, detail-oriented, and flexible with us. Her selection of florals were beautiful but also practical given our outdoor venue, and her creative vision helped us bring our ideas to life. We added an additional order a few weeks prior for our welcome evening – all we gave her were the photos of the space, and the color palette – and Janelle’s natural talent and eye for design created the most beautiful arrangements. She was super flexible with us getting to keep the arrangements/vases after the events too - we reused our welcome evening & wedding centerpieces for our morning after brunch, and were able to return the vases to her later. We highly recommend working with Janelle, and hope we get the chance to work with her for future events!

I can't recommend Janelle enough! She did my wedding flowers and tears came into my eyes when I saw how beautiful they had turned out. I had sent her inspiration photos and she did such an amazing job of turning my vision into exactly what I wanted. She was super easy to work with - she was quick to respond, always friendly and personable, and I loved how she would send proposal sheets that included pictures and descriptions of what was needed. I still love looking at the flowers in our pictures because they bring me so much joy!

Janelle at Green Petal Designs was maybe my favorite vendor of our entire wedding. She couldn't have been nicer or easier to work with, and she worked absolute magic within our budget. She understood my vision for florals, plants, and colors, and totally WOWed us with the outcome. I especially loved our chuppah, my bouquet, and our cake topper. The value here was notable vs. other quotes I received. I would recommend Janelle a million times!

Having Green Petal Designs/Janelle as our floral designer for our wedding was one of the best decisions I made. I began talking to Janelle in May of 2021 for my November 2021 wedding. I was extremely impressed with the proposal/quote that she put together based on my initial request. The quote included images of potential flower designs with detailed descriptions regarding the various options, which really helped me get an idea of my vision on paper. We went over the proposal over the phone together and based on our conversation, I knew I needed Janelle for my wedding.

My wedding was very small, and Janelle designed a ceremony half circle piece, boutonniere, bridal bouquet, cocktail centerpieces, reception centerpieces, and candles for the reception centerpieces. We went with an all-white floral design. I connected with Janelle again a few weeks before the wedding to finalize everything and I was able to make minimal changes based on our reception layout.

Since we were having such a small wedding, we did not hire a coordinator. Janelle made sure to stay in communication with my fiancé and I regarding the day of timing. When Janelle arrived, she set things up BEAUTIFULLY. When I saw my bouquet, I almost cried because it was what I had always dreamed of. Each piece that she put together was gorgeous/exactly what we talked about and we received so many compliments from our guests regarding her work.

Janelle at Green Petal Designs is amazing at what she does. I didn’t know much about flowers, but I sent her some inspiration pictures and my budget and let her do her thing. I could not have been more blown away by the florals and centerpieces she provided. I received so many compliments on my bridal bouquet and the beautiful centerpieces. Her candle rentals were also stunning. Our florals looked so luxurious and I can’t thank Janelle enough. I had thought that my budget would have limited what we could have done, but Janelle was able to make our day so incredibly beautiful at such a reasonable cost.

Janelle and her team did a magnificent job with our wedding florals. She made us achieve our dream vision and even perfected it. I almost broke into tears when I first walked into the reception room; the set up exceeded my expectations. It was wonderful to work with Janelle in every step of the way. She patiently took note of every detail and requests and answered to questions. She developed a detailed and clear proposal that helped us a lot in our planning and budgeting. We couldn’t be happier in the entire process.

Janelle and her team are a must hire for your wedding! We were referred to Janelle by a friend back in 2019 and we are so happy we hired her for our big day! Janelle was an absolute dream to work with and not sure if we can put into words how thankful we are that we hired her for our big celebration. Our wedding was originally scheduled for 10/10/2020 and due to the pandemic, we had to push our reception to 2021. We took a break from planning due to the pandemic and we picked it back up in the beginning of 2021 and she didn’t miss a beat. Janelle really understood what we wanted, and she and her team really gave us the florals of our dreams while keeping us within budget! She was honest and upfront and there were never any costs there weren’t discussed and agreed upon first. She was extremely professional and was always available to answer any questions or concerns. BOOK! I could not recommend Janelle and her team enough. After multiple wedding postponements and a venue change, I needed to find a florist on short notice and for a decent budget for both my welcome reception and wedding day. After a phone call with Janelle to discuss my vision, she immediately made me feel comfortable about bringing my dream wedding to life. Throughout the planning process, she was always easy to communicate with and welcomed any changes. The flowers at both events turned out absolutely beautiful and even better than I could've imagined. Janelle’s flowers were the ABSOLUTE star of our wedding! Janelle listened so carefully to our vision and made it all happen while being thoughtful and generous about working within the budget we set. Janelle and Green Petal Designs was hands-down the BEST vendor of our wedding. When I saw our venue on the big day, I was floored. Show-stopping gorgeous flowers and she just really NAILED it.

I gave Janelle only a few photos for colors/style inspiration and knew that I wanted garlands here, an arrangement there, and a couple specific flower types incorporated. She turned my vague ideas into a concrete plan, and then delivered a real-life incarnation of my best flower dreams.
All with a down to earth attitude, quick responses, and reasonable prices.

Janelle also went WAY above and beyond: 1) she offered to pick up our wedding cake on the big day because it was closer to her house than to us/our venue, and 2) she picked/trimmed fresh flowers from her neighborhood THAT MORNING to incorporate because what I wanted (bougainvillea) are extremely fragile/fickle and wilt quickly, and would have been impossible to order or arrange in advance. There were bougainvillea everywhere. The colors were beautiful. Guests couldn't stop commenting. And of course, at the end of the night, the guests took nearly every single flower home -- they were too beautiful to waste. I was honestly sad that our honeymoon started the next day, because I wanted to admire my bouquet a few days longer.

On wedding day, a lot of things don't go exactly as planned. A fair amount of that has to do with vendors doing things a little differently than you expected/discussed. Not with Green Petal Designs -- Janelle delivered 1000% above expectation and I can't recommend her enough.
