Working with Janelle and her team was one of the highlights of our wedding. From the initial proposal to coordinating our actual arrangements, she was attentive, detail-oriented, and flexible with us. Her selection of florals were beautiful but also practical given our outdoor venue, and her creative vision helped us bring our ideas to life. We added an additional order a few weeks prior for our welcome evening – all we gave her were the photos of the space, and the color palette – and Janelle’s natural talent and eye for design created the most beautiful arrangements. She was super flexible with us getting to keep the arrangements/vases after the events too - we reused our welcome evening & wedding centerpieces for our morning after brunch, and were able to return the vases to her later. We highly recommend working with Janelle, and hope we get the chance to work with her for future events! -

I can't recommend Janelle enough! She did my wedding flowers and tears came into my eyes when I saw how beautiful they had turned out. I had sent her inspiration photos and she did such an amazing job of turning my vision into exactly what I wanted. She was super easy to work with - she was quick to respond, always friendly and personable, and I loved how she would send proposal sheets that included pictures and descriptions of what was needed. I still love looking at the flowers in our pictures because they bring me so much joy! -

Janelle at Green Petal Designs was maybe my favorite vendor of our entire wedding. She couldn't have been nicer or easier to work with, and she worked absolute magic within our budget. She understood my vision for florals, plants, and colors, and totally WOWed us with the outcome. I especially loved our chuppah, my bouquet, and our cake topper. The value here was notable vs. other quotes I received. I would recommend Janelle a million times! -

Having Green Petal Designs/Janelle as our floral designer for our wedding was one of the best decisions I made. I began talking to Janelle in May of 2021 for my November 2021 wedding. I was extremely impressed with the proposal/quote that she put together based on my initial request. The quote included images of potential flower designs with detailed descriptions regarding the various options, which really helped me get an idea of my vision on paper. We went over the proposal over the phone together and based on our conversation, I knew I needed Janelle for my wedding.
My wedding was very small, and Janelle designed a ceremony half circle piece, boutonniere, bridal bouquet, cocktail centerpieces, reception centerpieces, and candles for the reception centerpieces. We went with an all-white floral design. I connected with Janelle again a few weeks before the wedding to finalize everything and I was able to make minimal changes based on our reception layout.
Since we were having such a small wedding, we did not hire a coordinator. Janelle made sure to stay in communication with my fiancé and I regarding the day of timing. When Janelle arrived, she set things up BEAUTIFULLY. When I saw my bouquet, I almost cried because it was what I had always dreamed of. Each piece that she put together was gorgeous/exactly what we talked about and we received so many compliments from our guests regarding her work.
I cannot say enough positive things about Green Petal Designs and Janelle. -

Janelle at Green Petal Designs is amazing at what she does. I didn’t know much about flowers, but I sent her some inspiration pictures and my budget and let her do her thing. I could not have been more blown away by the florals and centerpieces she provided. I received so many compliments on my bridal bouquet and the beautiful centerpieces. Her candle rentals were also stunning. Our florals looked so luxurious and I can’t thank Janelle enough. I had thought that my budget would have limited what we could have done, but Janelle was able to make our day so incredibly beautiful at such a reasonable cost. -

Janelle and her team are a must hire for your wedding! We were referred to Janelle by a friend back in 2019 and we are so happy we hired her for our big day! Janelle was an absolute dream to work with and not sure if we can put into words how thankful we are that we hired her for our big celebration. Our wedding was originally scheduled for 10/10/2020 and due to the pandemic, we had to push our reception to 2021. We took a break from planning due to the pandemic and we picked it back up in the beginning of 2021 and she didn’t miss a beat. Janelle really understood what we wanted, and she and her team really gave us the florals of our dreams while keeping us within budget! She was honest and upfront and there were never any costs there weren’t discussed and agreed upon first. She was extremely professional and was always available to answer any questions or concerns. Thank you, Janelle and team, for everything, we really appreciate it!

Janelle’s flowers were the ABSOLUTE star of our wedding! Janelle listened so carefully to our vision and made it all happen while being thoughtful and generous about working within the budget we set. She and her team did an incredible job on the day of. For us, coming out to see the venue decorated with flowers just before the ceremony was simply magical. Her arrangements were breathtakingly gorgeous and, even more than that, felt personal and celebratory and just so right! We could not recommend her enough. Thank you, Janelle (and amazing team)! -

Janelle and Green Petal Designs was hands-down the BEST vendor of our wedding. When I saw our venue on the big day, I was floored. Show-stopping gorgeous flowers and she just really NAILED it.
I gave Janelle only a few photos for colors/style inspiration and knew that I wanted garlands here, an arrangement there, and a couple specific flower types incorporated. She turned my vague ideas into a concrete plan, and then delivered a real-life incarnation of my best flower dreams.
All with a down to earth attitude, quick responses, and reasonable prices.
Janelle also went WAY above and beyond: 1) she offered to pick up our wedding cake on the big day because it was closer to her house than to us/our venue, and 2) she picked/trimmed fresh flowers from her neighborhood THAT MORNING to incorporate because what I wanted (bougainvillea) are extremely fragile/fickle and wilt quickly, and would have been impossible to order or arrange in advance. There were bougainvillea everywhere. The colors were beautiful. Guests couldn't stop commenting. And of course, at the end of the night, the guests took nearly every single flower home -- they were too beautiful to waste. I was honestly sad that our honeymoon started the next day, because I wanted to admire my bouquet a few days longer.
On wedding day, a lot of things don't go exactly as planned. A fair amount of that has to do with vendors doing things a little differently than you expected/discussed. Not with Green Petal Designs -- Janelle delivered 1000% above expectation and I can't recommend her enough. -

Janelle was a dream to work with! Super responsive and knew exactly what vibe I wanted, even if I didn't quite know! We had a few conversations before the wedding and she helped me understand exactly what kind of flowers I wanted, as well as what I wanted the whole wedding to look like. Day of, she was quick and attentive, and the flowers were for sure a highlight of the event! Her prices were reasonable and she was so much fun to work with. You can't go wrong with Janelle! -

Best decision we made for our wedding!
For our wedding we hired Janelle with Green Petal Designs to do our florals and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The florals were absolutely stunning and we received so many compliments from guests about how much they loved them.
While working with Janelle, she made the whole process so easy! Starting out, we were not really sure what we wanted in terms of floral arrangements, types of flowers or exactly what style we wanted but with Janelle’s help she was able to ask the right questions that made it easy for us to figure out and describe our vision. On a few aspects we were still not sure exactly what to do and she was always willing to help us by providing more details about the choices or by choosing for us based on our vision when we couldn’t decide. We gave her our vision and she ran with it and it turned out better than we could have imagined. Janelle was always responsive, she worked well with the rest of our wedding vendors, and joined us for a walk-through as well to make sure it all went exactly as planned.
We were so appreciative of all Janelle did for our wedding. I would 100% recommend Janelle and Green Petal Designs for any of your floral needs! -

Can't recommend enough!
Working with Janelle at Green Petal Design was a dream from start to finish. She was creative, flexible, a good listener, and very reasonable about price – basically everything you could ask for in your wedding florist. With minimal guidance, she put together a phenomenal proposal that brought to life the vision I had for my wedding before I even fully knew what I wanted. The photo examples for each piece really helped to solidify our design. Furthermore, she was very reasonably priced compared to other proposals we received and also suggested ways we could efficiently reuse flowers from the Ceremony for the Reception – maximizing use of the flowers and reducing our overall costs. As we got closer to the Wedding and finalized certain elements of the day, we had parts of the proposal we wanted to change and she was always responsive and accommodating of our requests. I truly can’t recommend Janelle enough if you’re looking for a florist you can trust for an important event. We would love to work with her again in the future. -

Incredible design and pleasure to work with
Janelle completely captured my vision and was so patient with my fluctuating budget. The flowers were gorgeous and unique. I really wanted specific flowers that were on the tail end of the season but she still managed to find them. Everything was perfect and gorgeous- I got so many compliment. So thrilled she did my flowers. I cared a lot about the flowers at my wedding (got married at a garden, so you can tell I love flowers) and she exceeded my expectations. -

Found green petals on an app and after many interviews with many different florists decided to work with Janelle. I completely trusted the photos of weddings she had done before and the reviews I read and I think it was THE BEST decision ever.
Janele completely understood my vision for decoration, she was super patient with all changes I made throughout the process, she had such a competitive price compared to the FORTUNE the other vendors were trying to charge me.
Of course on the day of the wedding I was super anxious to see if she would be able to meet my expectations for the wedding flowers decoration but she EXCEEDED them. OMG! Everything looked so perfect! Every arrangement was more spectacular that I could expect.
Thanks for you dedition and good work. My wedding was epic, part of that thanks to you. I received SO MANY compliments for the decoration, everyone was saying how stunning it was. -

It was wonderful working with Janelle! The flowers were beautiful and all the logistics were easy. Janelle even checked in on flower placement day of where there were open questions to make sure the venue was set up perfectly. Given our venue was strict on what we could and couldn't have in the arrangements (invasive species and seed considerations), Janelle made beautiful arrangements meeting these requirements. -

Amazing Floral Design
The florals on our wedding day took my breath away! When the flowers were brought to the room, my eyes welled up because they were far more beautiful than I ever imagined! Kelly was so helpful and really made my bouquet so special with my Grandmother's lace. And the bouts were a classic touch to the groomsmen suits! Loved every bit of it. I would recommend Green Petal Designs a million times to any Bay Area couple! -

Janelle surpassed our expectations. We had a small wedding and I didn’t have a wedding planner, but she made the planning process so easy! She understood my vision from the beginning, she answered all my questions and was easy to reach. On the day of the wedding, she delivered the bouquet and boutonnièr on time, and worked her magic at our reception space! Our wedding was simple but elegant and I don’t think we would have been able to pull it off without her outstanding work! -

Janelle was amazing to work with. We had some specific things we wanted in terms of flowers and the vision and she delivered even better than we could have expected. She clearly understood our vision and created beautiful centerpieces, bouquet, boutonieres, and arbor decor. It was all reasonably priced as well. It made our wedding pictures truly pop.
