Hiring Fran as our wedding planner was one of the best decisions we made! Prior to the wedding, Fran helped make sure that everything was in order - communicating with our other vendors, gently reminding us of anything we needed to do, and providing encouragement throughout the stressful parts of the planning process. I was able to really enjoy the day-of because I was so confident that Fran and Alex would make sure things ran smoothly, and step in if they didn't. Fran regularly went above and beyond, from helping bring our table name cards from an idea I didn't properly think through to reality, to making sure three small children got down the aisle without any issues.
Additionally, the wedding industry assumes a lot of traditions and gender roles, and Fran did not, which we greatly appreciated.
Overall, working with Fran was an absolute joy and we could not recommend her more!

We hired Fran to plan and coordinate our 4 day wedding celebration that was a mix of Indian customs, Burning Man absurdity, and circus wonderment. Fran was absolutely a delight to work with and somehow managed to keep us on track and pull of this huge event. She was very supportive throughout the whole process and became a trusted friend to us both. During the wedding weekend, Fran worked so hard in the record breaking heat to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible.

We hired Green Dragonfly Events for the "Make it So" package, and throughout our planning process, Fran was very responsive and thoughtful about all of our plans, ideas, and hiccups. And when the time came, we were so comfortable and excited to hand it all over to her knowing it would all go off without a hitch. We are so lucky to have Fran as our wedding planner! We booked her for our summer 2020 wedding. She was great in the months preceding our wedding, but really shined when the lockdowns happened. When everything was up in the air, she helped us shift our plans to a Covid friendly backyard wedding. She somehow found a way to coordinate the whole thing virtually.

When it came to our sequel wedding, Fran picked right back up where we left off. We had the requisite family drama, but Fran kept everything running smoothly so that my husband and I could enjoy our special day.

Fran was our day-of coordinator for my wedding and was FANTASTIC. She was able to deftly handle our families and make sure everything went as planned.

I also have her to thank for encouraging me to be myself on my wedding day- I’m not really a heels person, but bought a pair to wear during the ceremony. I also planned to change into a pair of platform Doc Martens for the reception. She asked me why not wear the docs during the ceremony? I’m so happy I took her advice– I felt completely comfortable on my wedding day and got great pictures out of it as well! It was really awesome to have someone who “got” my husband and I as a couple and encouraged us to be unapologetically ourselves.

Green Dragonfly Events helped plan our wedding, including the need to replan because of a Covid-19 disruption. Fran was very attentive and communicative, she listened to all of our wants and gave us invaluable advice on things like timing, program run and working with vendors. She was very adaptive and flexible with the need to change the date of our wedding twice due to the pandemic. She was also inclusive and respectful of our queer identities and made us always feel comfortable with the process.

We hired Fran for wedding management right before the pandemic. She was wonderful to work with for both our wedding ceremony and our wedding reception... which ended up being 9 months later! She stuck with us through the whole journey, even when the event morphed into two separate events, neither at the original venue. She's super knowledgeable about all manner of wedding things and local vendors, and came to my creative rescue with ideas, supplies, and setup for table decorations. Absolutely recommend her!

Fran was an absolutely essential part of our wedding and we are so, so happy we hired her. She is incredibly kind, patient, flexible, and hardworking. We hired her as our day-of coordinator in 2019 for our 2020 wedding, which was then pushed back to 2021. She checked in on us multiple times to see how planning was going, gave great advice and helpful input, and made sure every single part of our wedding ran smoothly. She checked in with all of our vendors the day before and kept track of them day-of, flawlessly directed our rehearsal, plus did a million extra things from helping with set-up and arranging my last-minute bouquet to handling our cake when the caterer didn't cut it themselves. Hiring Fran was absolutely one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding, and I would recommend her services to anyone regardless of the size or style of their wedding. I'm sure she can handle anything you throw at her!

There really aren’t enough good things in the world for us to say about Fran. From our first interaction over email to our heartfelt goodbyes at the end of our awesome queer wedding, Fran was there every step of the way, through all our ups and downs with decision-making, vendor-choosing, and general panic. She always had our best interests at heart and got who we were, sometimes better we did than ourselves when caught up in the thick of things.

Although we chose to do a lot of planning ourselves, Fran was there to offer support at every turn and fully embraced our book themed, alternative, geeky, queer celebration and party. Fran accompanied us at multiple venue planning meetings, helped us to find our outfits, and got us back on track when we veered away from our true values. Calling her a planner doesn’t take into account everything she did! Fran was a guide through the unfamiliar world of weddings, a sounding board for ideas and creative projects, the person to push when we needed pushing and to hold our hands when we needed it, a huge supporter when we needed solidarity as LGBTQ folk navigating less inclusive aspects of wedding planning, and sometimes a therapist...

On the day of our event, Fran was especially amazing – a consummate professional navigating behind-the-scenes conflict which we didn’t hear about until after our big day. She made sure that our experience on the day of was nothing short of transcending. In fact, a few of our vendors stated that they would recommend Fran to their clients! We can’t recommend her highly enough and we’ve come to consider her a dear friend. <3<3<3
