  Best decision!!

  Hiring Fran as our wedding planner was one of the best decisions we made! Prior to the wedding, Fran helped make sure that everything was in order - communicating with our other vendors, gently reminding us of anything we needed to do, and providing encouragement throughout the stressful parts of the planning process. I was able to really enjoy the day-of because I was so confident that Fran and Alex would make sure things ran smoothly, and step in if they didn't. Fran regularly went above and beyond, from helping bring our table name cards from an idea I didn't properly think through to reality, to making sure three small children got down the aisle without any issues.
  Additionally, the wedding industry assumes a lot of traditions and gender roles, and Fran did not, which we greatly appreciated.
  Overall, working with Fran was an absolute joy and we could not recommend her more!

  A rock amid "joyful chaos"

  Hiring Fran was among our best wedding decisions. We hired Green Dragonfly Events for the "Make it So" package, and throughout our planning process, Fran was very responsive and thoughtful about all of our plans, ideas, and hiccups. And when the time came, we were so comfortable and excited to hand it all over to her knowing it would all go off without a hitch. Fran was a steadying force throughout, keeping us on track for the joyful chaos we dreamed up for our big day.

  Fran was absolutely crucial to our wedding.

  We hired Fran to plan and coordinate our 4 day wedding celebration that was a mix of Indian customs, Burning Man absurdity, and circus wonderment. Fran was absolutely a delight to work with and somehow managed to keep us on track and pull of this huge event. She was very supportive throughout the whole process and became a trusted friend to us both. During the wedding weekend, Fran worked so hard in the record breaking heat to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible.
  I would recommend Fran to anyone planning a wedding. I honestly do not believe that anyone else could have helped us in the ways that Fran did.

  Adaptive and Inclusive Wedding Planner

  Green Dragonfly Events helped plan our wedding, including the need to replan because of a Covid-19 disruption. Fran was very attentive and communicative, she listened to all of our wants and gave us invaluable advice on things like timing, program run and working with vendors. She was very adaptive and flexible with the need to change the date of our wedding twice due to the pandemic. She was also inclusive and respectful of our queer identities and made us always feel comfortable with the process.

  Five Star Day-of Coordinator!

  Fran was our day-of coordinator for my wedding and was FANTASTIC. She was able to deftly handle our families and make sure everything went as planned.
  
  I also have her to thank for encouraging me to be myself on my wedding day- I’m not really a heels person, but bought a pair to wear during the ceremony. I also planned to change into a pair of platform Doc Martens for the reception. She asked me why not wear the docs during the ceremony? I’m so happy I took her advice– I felt completely comfortable on my wedding day and got great pictures out of it as well! It was really awesome to have someone who “got” my husband and I as a couple and encouraged us to be unapologetically ourselves.

  It's been a long road... and we're so glad Fran was with us!

  We hired Fran for wedding management right before the pandemic. She was wonderful to work with for both our wedding ceremony and our wedding reception... which ended up being 9 months later! She stuck with us through the whole journey, even when the event morphed into two separate events, neither at the original venue. She's super knowledgeable about all manner of wedding things and local vendors, and came to my creative rescue with ideas, supplies, and setup for table decorations. Absolutely recommend her!

  Just the best!!

  Fran was an absolutely essential part of our wedding and we are so, so happy we hired her. She is incredibly kind, patient, flexible, and hardworking. We hired her as our day-of coordinator in 2019 for our 2020 wedding, which was then pushed back to 2021. She checked in on us multiple times to see how planning was going, gave great advice and helpful input, and made sure every single part of our wedding ran smoothly. She checked in with all of our vendors the day before and kept track of them day-of, flawlessly directed our rehearsal, plus did a million extra things from helping with set-up and arranging my last-minute bouquet to handling our cake when the caterer didn't cut it themselves. Hiring Fran was absolutely one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding, and I would recommend her services to anyone regardless of the size or style of their wedding. I'm sure she can handle anything you throw at her!

  Fran saved my Covid wedding plans!

  We are so lucky to have Fran as our wedding planner! We booked her for our summer 2020 wedding. She was great in the months preceding our wedding, but really shined when the lockdowns happened. When everything was up in the air, she helped us shift our plans to a Covid friendly backyard wedding. She somehow found a way to coordinate the whole thing virtually.
  
  When it came to our sequel wedding, Fran picked right back up where we left off. We had the requisite family drama, but Fran kept everything running smoothly so that my husband and I could enjoy our special day.
  
  So glad we Fran was a part of both of our special days!

  Amazing Planner!

  Fran at Green Dragonfly is knowledgeable, friendly, and delivers excellent service. She was able to answer all our questions and took the time to explain everything to us. She was always respectful and patient.
  We interviewed many other wedding planners, but never received the same level of attention to detail and willingness to listen. She made sure my fiancé and I were happy before the big day.
  We had issues with certain vendors, but she was there from the beginning to the end to pull everything together and made our day go smoothly. I would absolutely recommend Fran! She is a wonderful wedding planner to work with. Thank You for all your help, Fran!

From our first interaction over email to our heartfelt goodbyes at the end of our awesome queer wedding, Fran was there every step of the way, through all our ups and downs with decision-making, vendor-choosing, and general panic. She always had our best interests at heart and got who we were, sometimes better we did than ourselves when caught up in the thick of things.
  
  Although we chose to do a lot of planning ourselves, Fran was there to offer support at every turn and fully embraced our book themed, alternative, geeky, queer celebration and party. Fran accompanied us at multiple venue planning meetings, helped us to find our outfits, and got us back on track when we veered away from our true values. Calling her a planner doesn’t take into account everything she did! Fran was a guide through the unfamiliar world of weddings, a sounding board for ideas and creative projects, the person to push when we needed pushing and to hold our hands when we needed it, a huge supporter when we needed solidarity as LGBTQ folk navigating less inclusive aspects of wedding planning, and sometimes a therapist...
  
  On the day of our event, Fran was especially amazing – a consummate professional navigating behind-the-scenes conflict which we didn’t hear about until after our big day. She made sure that our experience on the day of was nothing short of transcending. In fact, a few of our vendors stated that they would recommend Fran to their clients! We can’t recommend her highly enough and we’ve come to consider her a dear friend. <3<3<3

  Working with Fran was an absolute pleasure and deciding to work with her was one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning. Planning a wedding can be extremely daunting, and partnering with Fran proved to be extremely cost-effective and totally worth it! I booked the “Calla Lily” package as my option with Forrach Event Planning, and from the very beginning, Fran put me right on track with rough timeline of what tasks I should have completed as my wedding date drew near. She was constantly and consistently available to be reached on the phone, email, facebook and so on. When faced with a major wedding decision that you don't want to make with out a professional, her lighting quick responsiveness is a life saver! Fran also has a remarkable wealth of knowledge when it comes to the wedding industry; her cost-saving and DIY recommendations are very insightful, her advice on how to deal with different vendors is savvy and her experience is priceless. I am a full time working professional who had very little time during the day to focus on my wedding (plus have a natural inclination to procrastinate!), yet Fran was patient and steadfast with me leading all the way up to the wedding.
  
  As the months wound down and the big day approached, my interactions with Fran had already made me feel comfortable about wedding day. But, she truly went above and beyond my expectations the day before and day of. As I was frazzled, stressed, nervous and excited all at once, Fran was collected, organized - VERY organized - soft-spoken yet effective and a fantastic support system. She championed our rehearsal, stayed up late the night before and was there the very first thing in the morning to help set up the room. My particular venue nor vendor that provided my linens and chair covers took responsibility for setting up my reception room, so Fran set up the ENTIRE reception area - tablecloths, favors, chair covers - the works! She was in constant communication with me throughout the day, so much in fact that I received a number of comments on how unusually calm I was while getting ready … I can unequivocally say it was because of Fran! My day ran so smoothly, it was unbelievable. Even when our outdoor ceremony had to be moved indoors because of rain, the transition was seamless. I never had to worry ONCE about my vendors, the room set up, flowers, food or anything else and could focus on my husband-to-be, friends, family and not tripping while walking down the aisle! Simply put, Fran is FABULOUS!

  Forrach Event Planning is awesome! Fran responded to my initial inquiry within hours, and you can expect a quick response from her throughout the planning process. She always responded promptly to my millions of e-mails and phonecalls. She is very flexible regarding the level of involvement you want, whether you are a control freak like me and want to be involved in everything or wish to do nothing but show up on your wedding day. She is very professional, but very down-to-earth, not the slightest bit snooty like some other planners I spoke with. She has a lot of vendor contacts but still knows how to deal with overly pushy vendors. She is always on the lookout for new ideas and is receptive to your own ideas. I had a limited budget and was a DIY bride, and she is great with crafts and creativity. Whether you want a small, informal event or a huge, formal gala, she will make sure you get your wedding your way and is with you every step of the way. I would hire Forrach Event Planning again in an instant.

  Fran was amazing!!! There were times where there were some delayed communications earlier on, but without Fran my wedding wouldn't have been what it was. Her and her assistant were worth every penny and more! She was wonderful and I can not thank her enough for everything she did, from putting together last minute decorations to helping everything happen despite our serious time crunch. I am so grateful that I choose her as my wedding planner and once I met her the decision was really easy. Thank you sooooo much for making my day the wonderful celebration that it was!!!!!!!

  Fran made our day run so smoothly! A couple times it was hard for us to meet because of childcare issues, but we were able to work it out. I would highly recommend her. She's great bang for your buck!
