We worked with Olivia who accommodated all of our requests to make sure our reception was exactly how we wanted it. Her attentiveness and attention to detail allowed for a stress-free event. It was a perfect added bonus for Great Oaks to keep their Christmas decor up for our reception.

After our engagement in late 2013, we immediately started looking for venue spaces. We toured several in the area, but ultimately chose Great Oaks based on their ability to accommodate both the ceremony and reception (up to 300 people), their menu, their gorgeous interior, and their incredible staff. Of course, my husband was thrilled they offered a complimentary golf session for both him and three of his groomsmen the day of our wedding. Once booked, we also worked with an event coordinator from beginning to end (first Stephanie, who was wonderful but left for another position, and then Amber, who was equally awesome) who handled all sorts of behind-the-scenes details and requests for us. Everyone we spoke to on the staff was both friendly and courteous. On the day of our wedding, Amber was on hand the entire time to coordinate every last detail to perfection. I loved that this venue only allows for one wedding at a time- we had tons of space for both the wedding party and guests to get ready. We had our ceremony in the Club Dining Room, and used the banquet space for our reception. The servers and bartenders throughout the night were prompt, professional, and friendly, a big hit with all our guests. After it was all over, there were nothing but positive reviews. I highly recommend Great Oaks to all prospective couples!

Great Oaks Country Club was the perfect venue for my wedding. The entire staff (especially Amber!) went above and beyond, and my guests are still talking about how my wedding was one of the most beautiful with the best food. My husband and I were coming in from out of town, and I actually never visited Great Oaks in person before I booked (my mom did though). It was the perfect setting for my wedding - the grounds are perfect for pictures, I had a large ballroom with windows and a wraparound porch. I was able to have an outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in the same place. Amber, the coordinator, made the day stressfree and fun! She handled all the details for vendor coordination, last minute requests, and smooth flow for the day. She is an asset to Great Oaks, and a big reason to choose Great Oaks. Great price for all the offerings!

Having our wedding reception at Great Oaks Country Club was one of the best decisions we made. No regrets! Stephanie was the best coordinator - very detail-oriented and organized - and made sure our wedding was executed flawlessly. She even dressed up the day of the wedding in our wedding colors, which just shows her dedication. The venue was gorgeous with the views of the golf course in the background. They let us use the golf carts for pictures and even provide a four-some for golf to the groom to use at a future date, which was much appreciated for the golf fan. Bartender was amazing, cooks fabulous, valet crew awesome, service staff impeccable. Everyone was impressed, especially with the food, even saying it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. After the staff cleaned up for the night, they made an area of all our items for us to pick up the next morning after the wedding. Just knowing they were taking care of everything was a life-saver to us. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a classy reception venue with top-notch service at a great value.

My reception at Great Oaks Country Club was amazing!!!! Nicole and the staff at Great Oaks was extremely helpful and helped to make this the happiest and easiest day of my life! The reception was beautiful and the food from their chef was amazing. I recommend this venue to everyone!

I photographed a wedding at Great Oaks Country Club earlier this month and I was very impressed with the level of service provided. Lindsey Allen, the manager was very friendly. It was also a beautiful site to work at, with great lighting. Additionally, the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this venue to a bride looking for a reception site!!

The team at Great Oaks was great. The service provided on the day of the wedding was fantastic. The food was outstanding and all of my guests have been raving about it for weeks. The large windows, porch, and decor of the room make for a great atmosphere.
