Alicia was excellent. She's organized and was very responsive during the flurry of emails leading up to our day. Her experience was real asset, too: she knew the venue and caterer pretty well and was able to guide us through some of the trickier decisions. Alicia also gets points for managing something new to her, a traditional Persian ceremony, with a respectful curiosity we didn't always find in other wedding planners. We'd highly recommend Alicia.

Great Expectations highly exceeded all my expectations. With me living in one city, my planner living in another and the wedding being more than 600 miles away from us both, it was challenging at times to plan meetings. They made it work and met with me on my schedule, on the most undesirable days (Saturdays and Sundays).

Deanna helped me through every step of the wedding planning process, bringing up things I would never think of and would have forgotten. She worked one-on-one with all of my vendors to book them and all I had to do was sign contracts. She even came to my final dress fitting to learn how to bustle my dress. She would make recommendations and tell me what she thought was best and I loved it all.

The process was completely stress free for me. I didn't even lift a finger the morning of the wedding. I trusted everything was put into place and it turned out absolutely beautiful. I had a HUGE wedding party and she made sure everyone was in place and ready to go when it came time to start. Even our officiant said he had never seen a wedding that big start on time. That never would have happened without Deanna's guidance. I am so thankful for their hard work and dedication over the last year and will never be able to say thank you enough. They made the wedding of my dreams become a reality! <3

Alicia was absolutely incredible to work with. She really helped me navigate through all of the details of our wedding! From ceremony planning, menu selection and budget, we had her from the beginning of our wedding day until almost all guests were gone. She coordinated every detail of the day and made sure all the vendors were on time and knew exactly what to do. Alicia also did all of the floral arrangements and my bouquet- gorgeous work. Could not have asked for a better outcome for our perfect day!

Alicia helped me plan a wedding in Lexington from another city- she also did my flowers. She worked around my schedule to meet with me and was very responsive to emails and phone correspondence. She recommended the most wonderful vendors when I didn't have time to personally check them out myself (our DJs and photographers were the best in the business- and affordable!).
I ended up with the most beautiful wedding of my dreams and definitely couldn't have done it on my own.

I worked with Deanna for my wedding and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! She would ask me what MY vision was instead of telling me what I should do. She made all my ideas feel important. She was so quick to respond to all my emails and calls and never seemed bothered by me. She went out of her way to help with any issue I had even though I booked her for day of services. She also did all of my flowers and was able to work with me on price since she knew I didn't want to spend a lot on them. She made sure my mother and I didn't have to worry about a thing on the wedding day and I would highly recommend her to any bride!

My daughter was married on November 1, 2014. We had six months to plan the wedding. I knew nothing about weddings today. My daughter found Alicia on the internet and we set up a meeting. I was hesitant at first deciding if we really needed a planner or not and considering the expense. Since I lived in Ashland, KY and the wedding was going to be in Lexington I decided to take the plunge. I could not be happier. Alicia did the planning and the flowers. Every meeting we had with her was so nice. She was very professional, knowledgable, and has the greatest personality. We felt like girlfriends were getting together each time to discuss the wedding. She knew the venue we chose for the reception very well, she knew the church we chose for the ceremony very well, she knew the hotel to pick, the transportation to pick, the videographer, the cake, etc. She made the wedding so completely stress free. The week of the wedding was the best. We were relaxed and enjoyed all the family and friends that were in town. She took care of everything, from setting things up to taking everything down and getting it back to you. She was there while the girls got ready, there at the church, there at the reception. I don't know what I would have done without her. She not only was the planner and did a fabulous job at that she was also our florist. When I saw my daughter's bridal bouquet I wanted to cry. It was exactly what I had been picturing. All of the bouquets were beautiful. The reception was just stunning. It far surpassed by expections. The tables, linens, center pieces, guest registration table, everything was exceptional. Alicia was the BEST !

Alicia was absolutely amazing! Our wedding was exactly how we imagined and I will say maybe even better. She had great vendor recommendations and this made our wedding planning less stressful. Alicia was not only our wedding planner but also our Florist. I had a specific idea of how I wanted our flowers to look. Alicia went above and beyond with the flowers. It looked exactly how I wanted..the flowers were beautiful and the colors were brilliantly bright. Our wedding was filled with beautiful spring flowers. Most importantly, Alicia was so sweet and she made our special day unforgettable. I hope I never have to use her again as a wedding planner ; )since I hope to only be married once but I definitely recommend her for anyone who wants a stress free and fabulous wedding experience. She is the best!
