My name is Rachel Wilson, and I am the owner of GOT Photography. I have been a professional photographer in the Northern Nevada area for the last 10 years. I pride myself on providing the best photography services possible and have several awards under my belt including "Couple's Choice", "Best Wedding Photographer" by Peerspace, and was recently named one of the best wedding photographers of 2020 by prestigious LooksLikeFilm. Hire Rachel Right Now!
I was so nervous about finding the right photographer for our big day. We were having a small wedding and knew the photos would be what we'd send out to extended family and friends to tell the story of our big day. Right away after looking at Rachel's portfolio, I knew she was incredibly talented not just at capturing the moment, but at editing the photos to look natural, but intensely dreamy.
She was a pleasure to work with and rolled with all of our many changes. We had to change our wedding date and location, and she happily accommodated us. She was great at capturing everything we'd asked for, in addition to balancing the many variables and personalities at our wedding. Many of our wedding attendees are still talking about how great she was and FUN to hang out with! Cannot say enough good things. Book her!

The Superhero Photographer
It's hard to know where to start with the praise of Rachel because there are so many great things to say about her. She's not just an outstanding photographer, but a genuinely lovely human being who felt like part of the family at our wedding. My wife and went through a lot up's and down's with planning a last minute wedding in 2020 not just once, but twice after being shutdown due to the pandemic. Rachel never flinched, working with us on every update and change with ease and grace. The day of the actual wedding, she arrived with a smile on her face and a can-do attitude that gave us peace of mind, as well as a genuine sense of self assuredness. We knew we'd hired the right photographer for our big day! Once the photos started to roll in, we were overwhelmed by her talent. Rachel's eye for details, on-point lighting skills, and ability to manage friends, family, and guests into a variety of poses and candids was incredible. My wife lost her mother 3 weeks after our wedding, so having Rachel's beautiful pictures of the very special day was the greatest gift we could ask for. Accommodating, efficient and detailed work!
Words cannot describe how thankful my husband and I are for Rachel! She is so well priced, fantastic at her job, and so accommodating. We changed our wedding date so many times and the plans changed several times this year because of COVID-19 yet Rachel was there with us every step of the way! Rachel is efficient and knows exactly how to get the photos done that you want. Not only is she an amazing person, she is so passionate about her job which you can see in her level of work. My family was blown away by our engagement and wedding photos. Photographers of her caliber are charging three times her rate and may not be as accommodating as she is. If you are looking for a photographer, you will not be disappointed by her work. We cannot wait to do future photo shoots with her!

Extraordinary
Rachel was so amazing to work with! She not only made time for an impromptu family photo shoot (with just 2 days notice) but also photographed my son and new daughter in laws engagement photos. When we saw the amazing job she had done we had to book her for the wedding. It was so close to Rachel's due date that we were worried her little bundle of joy would make an appearance or Rachel would be so tired, that she wouldn't be able to shoot the wedding. Rachel assured us she would be there- and she was! Heavily pregnant, this lady arrived very early the morning of the wedding and stayed the entire day capturing some unforgettable memories. I cant reccomend Rachel and GOT photography enough.

Beyond happy!
I did my homework before hiring a photographer. Followed a lot of photographers on social media. Rachel's work always stood out to me.she did my engagement photos as well Im beyond happy with the way they turned out. From the way she uses nature to the way she makes colors pop. She really has an eye for photography. Could not be happier I booked her! And shes super sweet and has a way of making us feel relaxed and comfortable around her.

Great snow engagement shoot
Found GOT photography on wedding wire, and really wanted a quick photo shoot in the snow during our short stay while visiting Reno.
Rachel was easy to work with and gave us a great deal. No time was wasted when we did our shoot. In addition, we had beautiful photos to choose from. More importantly the end product was better than I imagined them. She even edited them to add snow and they turned out gorgeous!
Really responsive, easy to work with, and flexible with our schedule!

Very understanding and personable
I first got in touch with GOT Photography on Wedding Wire and was very impressed with how quickly the response was. I immediately felt comfortable with Rachel. She answered all of my questions and made me feel like she was going to take care of me and my needs.
I booked Rachel with GOT Photography and was so excited to meet up with her to go over contracts and list of photos. Unfortunately, my wedding date had to be changed a few days after booking GOT Photography. I emailed Rachel and let her know that the day was going to change. She was already booked for my new wedding date but was very understanding and worked with me to get my deposit back since the date changed so suddenly. I wish I could have used her for my wedding. Her photos are phenomenal and she is so easy to work with. Maybe for another event :) I highly highly highly recommend GOT Photography and am very happy with the service I was given :)
