Hiring Alana and her team for day of coordination for my 315 person wedding was the best decision I made! We got in touch a few months before the wedding and ever since I signed the contract she was the biggest help! Communication was so easy with her, I could text, email, or DM her and she almost always got back to me immediately.

She did a great job of taking over my vendors once I handed over all their info. She made sure to get in contact with each one and continuously touch base with them to make sure all expectations were going to be met. During our walkthrough of the venue, there were some vendor contracts I was unfamiliar with and it was as if Alana studied the contracts because she knew all of the answers before I could even look them up in the contract.

We took a few hours to discuss the timeline/flow of the wedding and Alana made sure every little detail was listed and even down to the minute! All of the vendors were very impressed saying that she sent out the most detailed timeline they have ever seen! There was a surprise hula that I was doing for the groom and I forgot to warn the DJ before our meeting to not say anything about it, so I was fully expecting for the surprise to be ruined, however I didn’t know Alana had already let the vendors know not to say anything about it if the groom was present! Little things like this were such a big help and showed how much she was paying attention to things.

Alana and Alyssa were present for the setup of the venue the day prior which was great. Them being there allowed for my family to not have to worry so much about all the work that needed to get done. It was also nice they were there because they got to see what decor came out of what boxes, and how to put everything back at the end of the night. The reception hall looked absolutely amazing!

Our wedding reception went better than expected! My biggest worry was the timing of events, and we actually were able to get ahead of schedule, which meant more time to party! She constantly made sure my husband and I were taken care of with food and drinks, and also just our mental state too. There were some silly little hygiene things that were needed throughout the night and she had everything right there! Once the formal events happened and it was time to party, the team started to get decor that was no longer being used put away. That ensured we were cleaned up and out of the venue on time. It also made for the rest of the clean up to go very smooth.

To say the least, Alana and her team nailed our wedding day. Our vision and expectations were definitely exceeded! I highly recommend Alana and her team for any of your upcoming events!

Now that I’ve had a moment to sit down and breathe, I just wanted to say thank you. I had low expectations, because I’m a simple girl who just wanted a party. Bianca, you and your team took my party to another level. The look was beyond beautiful and elevated my simple thoughts to an unforgettable night. I got to go out in style and had such a great ending to close out that chapter!

I didn’t get a chance to eat, even though your team offered to make me a plate, but everyone one said the food was so good! Working with JJ’s Island Grindz Catering was so easy and effortless!

I finally cut into the cake today…and no lie, it was the best cake I’ve ever had to date. All of the guest said the cupcakes were delicious and almost too beautiful to eat. 2nd Bite Bakery is now my all-time favorite.

Moko Photo Booth was a big hit! And the customization of it just added to how elevated the evening was.

There was the unfortunate “no strong alcohol” snafu that was no fault of ours, but Ms. Lauren, you saved the day with your “creative thinking”. And Bianca, what you were willing to do to rectify a situation you didn’t create, touched my heart.

And the drinks!!! Beyond delicious and packed a punch! Which just added to a great time! Haha! I loved the bartenders! They also had a great time and were so moved by the performance. Mix and Mingle was the perfect addition to a great celebration!

Alana, your team is amazing. Period. They really looked after me and took amazing care of me. I felt like they were just part of our Kaleo crew and totally fit right in!

Lauren & Alana are godsends! They helped me talk through the aspects of planning that brought anxiety, and from then on it was truly smooth sailing all the way. I was able to be in the moment and enjoy my guests because I knew that Lauren had it covered. They made wedding planning fun, which I didn't know it could be. Their prices are also incredibly fair and well worth the price. Now that our wedding is over I sincerely will miss having Lauren in our lives for the past 6 months.

Words cant adequately describe how awesome Alana and her team are. My wife and I were very intentional in our search for vendors to work with - we wanted great people who we vibed with and are from minority-owned/led businesses.
From our first call, Alana passed the vibe check immediately. Clearly knowledgeable, hardworking, and trustworthy what set her apart for us was that she didn't try to impose a traditional way of having a wedding on us. We had said at the get-go that we wanted to do things differently and really find ways to make our wedding unique to us, and she embraced our desires and our ideas with open arms and encouragement, which is exactly what you want from your wedding coordinator/planner - someone who understands what you and your partner want and will help you make it happen.

The month leading up to the big day is innately stressful, but Alana helped ease our stress leading up to the big day.

When our big weekend came, we knew we were in great hands. From rehearsal (she was coordinating a 40 person wedding party/aka our homies of honor) and throughout our wedding day/night, Alana and her team crushed it, and we are forever grateful to them.

They say sometimes you have to compromise, but with Alana and her team you don't, you could have it all with a coordinator/planner. If you want someone who is culturally expansive, visionary, fun, humanity-forward, hardworking, knowledgeable, and can execute, look no further. Regardless of what type of wedding you want, Alana and her team are the ones to make your wedding dreams come true.

We truly cannot thank Alana enough for everything she did for us. She was there for us during one of the most stressful times in a couple’s relationship, and honestly, we don’t know how we would have made it through our wedding day without her. Her calm presence, organization, and reassurance made all the difference.
We also want to give a huge shoutout to Lani and Bianca for their incredible support. At one point, I was convinced we had lost our marriage certificate and started to panic but Bianca immediately stepped in and calmly pointed out that she had it safely stored in a separate bag, along with other important items like the money from the money dance and all the cards and gifts from our family. That moment alone showed just how thoughtful, prepared, and on top of everything this team truly is.
There are so many things that could have gone wrong on such an important day, and while a few small things inevitably did, Alana and her team made those moments feel non-existent just minor hiccups rather than world-ending catastrophes. Because of them, we were able to stay present, enjoy our day, and focus on what truly mattered.
We cannot thank this team enough. They truly made our day beautiful, seamless, and unforgettable. THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH! 💖

I used Godoy Events for my wedding at the Sinclair on Gst in San Diego and it was the most beautiful event and wedding! But what really stood out to us was how organized they were! We truly would have had way more stress leading up to the wedding but Alana specifically was clear and efficient in her communication and it resulted in a virtually seamless wedding where me and my husband were taken care of all night and never had to worry about anything!

Alana got started quickly with us, was super responsive with emails, and had tons of links and vendors and suggestions at the ready that fit exactly what we needed. She really set the standard for us with her work ethic and enthusiasm for what she does. We had a lot of little errors and discrepancies in the timeline we had drafted ourselves with vendors (we thought we did a pretty good job) and she caught them + updated the vendors so everything ran smoothly and cleanly.

Additional shoutout to her assistant Bianca, she was awesome. She helped us out the day of the event and was able to think on the fly for some last minute issues that came up with our decor. She made it not only work but look better than what we had initially thought we'd purpose certain things for. Cannot recommend Godoy Events enough!
