Glossy Girl was great and I would recommend her to anyone in the Philly area for bridal services and/or other events! She was referred to me by a friend who had been in a wedding party where her services were provided. She was great stylist and those in my bridal party loved their hair! She was punctual, easy to work with and affordable...what more can you ask for. Will definitely be using her again for other events!

Cali is an absolute gem and I recommend her SO highly. I found her on weddingwire and had only the reviews there... And they were totally spot on! Yes, the services are pricey, but this is your wedding. And those pictures are forever. Plus, other makeup/hair artists are significantly more expensive. Cali made me and my gals look like the best versions of ourselves, not overdone in any way. She was responsive to my concerns after the trial and had concrete suggestions for addressing them. Cali is also a really nice, funny person, who we all just loved. I recommend her without hesitation. Just a fantastic person with an amazing talent for makeup and hair.

Cali is amazing!! Living in Colorado, I was unable to schedule a trial before my wedding in Philadelphia. Not a problem at all! She is experienced and made me feel at ease on my wedding day. My hair was exactly what I wanted, and it did not budge the entire night. Make up was flawless.

I found her here on Wedding Wire and I contacted her after looking at many of the vendors on this site.

After seeing my wedding photos, all my friends want to have Cali for their wedding. Cali did not ask me to write this review for her (as some vendors offer discounts to clients who endorse them). She's just talented and I feel that she deserves this review.

Cali was friendly, sweet, and professional during both my trial and the day of. We all enjoyed chatting with her as she worked on myself, my mom and bridesmaids. Arrived on time the day of my wedding and got us out the door on time for the ceremony. Lovely work.

A true professional and wonderful person to work with. Cali did a wonderful job of our hair and make up. She arrived early, was responsive to emails and calls and really took on board anything that I wanted to do. She gave helpful suggestions and even after changing my mind a little after the trial, she was ready and prepared to make my changes on the day. My bridesmaids brought pictures of what they were thinking they would like and she made a fantastic job of matching that. She also helped my grandmom with her hair which was truely uncessary but so glad she did. I would and am highly recommending her to anyone looking for a talented stylist.

Cali made me and my sisters look truly beautiful, and she has a very cool and calm demeanor which is helpful on the day of someone's wedding! She was totally flexible about doing and re-doing my hair until I thought it was perfect, which I really appreciated. The make-up was gorgeous and just the right amount of drama for a bride without looking silly or artificial at all. Perfection!

Calista is great at what she does. We had a trial and it was beautiful but not quite what I wanted. When I mentioned it on my wedding day, she said no problem and proceeded to give me THE look I wanted. It was so perfect, stayed on all night and didn't look cakey. She made my bridesmaids look great and did hair for some of them as well. She has a ton of makeup to choose from and will come to you wherever you are.
