We expressed wanting to repurpose some of our ceremony pieces throughout the reception and her ideas/execution was unbelievable. We got married in mid-June 2019 at a Los Angeles venue. We were budget minded and Melanie was great in working with us on floral arrangements. We were able to repurpose flowers used for the ceremony for the reception, and able to save some money that way. Overall, we were quite pleased with the appearance and look and feel. Melanie met us prior to the ceremony for overall design and was onsite on wedding day. We worked as part of a co-op and they worked very well. Last year was the most stressful/exciting year of my life, and finding the best florist for our wedding was something that I didn’t have the mental capacity to do. Enter Melanie, who upon first meeting gave us the confidence that we were in good hands! Fast forward to our wedding day, and we had the most bespoke beautiful flower arrangements for our very color/culture specific wedding, and to add Melanie went above and beyond to make sure that our venue looked gorgeous for our special day. Honestly she took the vision that we could half describe and turned it into a reality that neither my wife or I could have envisioned!

We met Melanie through F/8 Studios after having met with several florist and being quoted prices that were unreasonable, and designs that more reflected the florist personal tastes. Melanie asked us a few simple questions about what our theme was, what colors we had in mind, and what our outfits would look like. On top of this she took the time get to know who we were and what our ideal wedding looked like. Within a week, Melanie was on top of getting us a quote as well as giving us a blueprint of what our floral arrangements would look like. I already started feeling like we were her most important clients. She gives that attention to detail to you. This is all before we had even signed a contract. My Wife and I loved her ideas and decided to pull the trigger. Since our wedding had a specific mix of color, Melanie had decided to include us heavily in the process. She invited my wife to send her ideas, colors, and her vision several times throughout the process. She even went as far as inviting us to the flower market to give her inspiration.

Honestly you won’t find vendors that pay such close attention to your preferences. Fast forward a few months and my wife got super busy with work so she passed the floral responsibilities onto me. I honestly have no knowledge of design, colors, or flowers. But Melanie got in touch with me and really helped me be a part of the process. She checked in regularly about my outfit, my groomsmen outfits, and what we wanted the day to look like. Melanie also asked how the tables and signage were looking, so that she could add pieces that would step them up a notch. All this, in the most affordable package!

Fast forward to our wedding day! We walk into our venue and start noticing how our vision of greenery and florals had filled the entire space. Not only that but all signage and tables had beautiful accent pieces. My groomsmen, who are not at all the kind of men to comment on flowers, talked about how much they loved their boutonnieres. Our bridesmaids were insistent on keeping their bouquets, and guests throughout the night were asking about the table pieces. Also Melanie made sure to add pieces to our desert table that completely transformed the look!

Our wedding was a fall wedding and had some vibrant colors in it: my Hanbok was green, my husband's Sherwani was gold, our bridal party was in light gray tones and gold accents. Her bouquets and boutonnieres tied everything together perfectly. No lie our wedding could've been a hot mess of color, but Melanie's choices of flowers and greenery pulled everything together.
