I can’t express how lucky we were to find Melanie for our floral arrangements! Our venue was very tropical/colorful and she was able to match the vibe of the space effortlessly. We expressed wanting to repurpose some of our ceremony pieces throughout the reception and her ideas/execution was unbelievable. The bouquets and table settings were absolutely incredible and she was willing to go above and beyond to make sure our day was as amazing as we envisioned. Our guests can’t stop gushing about the flowers! She’s just an absolute joy to work with and her warm, positive attitude made the day that more special! We’d definitely recommend her to anyone and everyone we know!!

Melanie is amazing!
I was introduced to Melanie through my wedding planner and I knew she was exactly who I was looking for after meeting. She’s so easy to work with, great with communication, and, on top of all of that, a beautiful person inside and out! She took my vision and made it into a reality, but far exceeded my expectations. The floral industry has taken a huge hit due to COVID and issues with supply from other countries, so Melanie had to make some changes but was always transparent and honest. I trusted her completely, as I don’t know anything about florals, and she DELIVERED!! Melanie is a master at her craft and played a vital role in making my dream wedding day come true! I can’t thank her enough. -

I found Melanie through a referral from one of my work colleagues. As soon as my husband and I got off our first call with Melanie we both looked at each other and said she’s it!! Not only is she incredible at her work she has an amazing, funny, supportive, and kind personality.
Melanie surpassed our expectations of how gorgeous our wedding could look. Her creativity and unique style came through to create gorgeous floral designs.
Working with Melanie you won’t get your run of the mill floral designs. Melanie caters to the style of each wedding and personalities of the bride and groom. We had some ideas and the rest we put in her hands!! It was beyond worth it! She created the perfect arrangements and wowed me, my husband, and our guests!! I could not have been more happy with our flowers!! Thank you Melanie!!! -

I couldn't have asked for a better florist !
I am SO glad I found Melanie! She was so easy to talk to and communicate with and she help what vision i had come to life! As someone who didn't think wedding flowers were so involved, Melanie helped me and my husband go through options and let us choose the perfect ones! She was very upfront on what she was able to get, what she wasn't, and alternatives on those ones that just in case we might not be able to have.
The final product was above and beyond anything i could have imagined ! for the price, we got more than what others were charging, and she even let us add things (like cake flowers) last minute. Love, love, love Melanie! -

Our Flowers Made Our Day!
Melanie is simply the BEST! She is such a joy to work with and definitely a sweetheart! She transformed our venue on our wedding day with her beautiful flowers. She went above and beyond and exceeded all our expectations. We just got back our photographer’s photos and the flowers complete every picture! Thank you for working with our budget and making our day more than ordinary. You have earned a forever client! 😘 -

Ginersnap provided stunning arrangements for our wedding including a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony. Melanie was very knowledgable about which florals would look best in the space we chose and was also open to our own personal ideas. She made our modern industrial space pop with bright colors without it feeling over the top. We give her 2 thumbs up and a high five! -

First of all Melanie is a sweetheart and her love for floral and design just makes you so happy and excited about planning your wedding. She's a dear and the very best out there.
Originally, I was working with another florist who had done a walk-through of my venue, but she still wasn't producing the vision I wanted and kept quoting me extremely high prices.
It was serendipity that I met Melanie at F/8 studios. I started chatting with her about our wedding. Within 5 minutes Melanie summarized everything I had originally wanted and she had never even stepped foot in my venue! She's psychic and her proposal was like a carbon copy of my Pinterest board.
Our wedding was a fall wedding and had some vibrant colors in it: my Hanbok was green, my husband's Sherwani was gold, our bridal party was in light gray tones and gold accents. Her bouquets and boutonnieres tied everything together perfectly. No lie our wedding could've been a hot mess of color, but Melanie's choices of flowers and greenery pulled everything together. The flowers were easily my favorite part of the wedding. Just trust Melanie and she will take care of you! -

Last year was the most stressful/exciting year of my life, and finding the best florist for our wedding was something that I didn’t have the mental capacity to do. Enter Melanie, who upon first meeting gave us the confidence that we were in good hands! Fast forward to our wedding day, and we had the most bespoke beautiful flower arrangements for our very color/culture specific wedding, and to add Melanie went above and beyond to make sure that our venue looked gorgeous for our special day. Honestly she took the vision that we could half describe and turned it into a reality that neither my wife or I could have envisioned!
We met Melanie through F/8 Studios after having met with several florist and being quoted prices that were unreasonable, and designs that more reflected the florist personal tastes. Melanie asked us a few simple questions about what our theme was, what colors we had in mind, and what our outfits would look like. On top of this she took the time get to know who we were and what our ideal wedding looked like. Within a week, Melanie was on top of getting us a quote as well as giving us a blueprint of what our floral arrangements would look like. I already started feeling like we were her most important clients. She gives that attention to detail to you. This is all before we had even signed a contract. My Wife and I loved her ideas and decided to pull the trigger. Since our wedding had a specific mix of color, Melanie had decided to include us heavily in the process. She invited my wife to send her ideas, colors, and her vision several times throughout the process. She even went as far as inviting us to the flower market to give her inspiration.
Honestly you won’t find vendors that pay such close attention to your preferences. Fast forward a few months and my wife got super busy with work so she passed the floral responsibilities onto me. I honestly have no knowledge of design, colors, or flowers. But Melanie got in touch with me and really helped me be a part of the process. She checked in regularly about my outfit, my groomsmen outfits, and what we wanted the day to look like. Melanie also asked how the tables and signage were looking, so that she could add pieces that would step them up a notch. All this, in the most affordable package!
Fast forward to our wedding day! We walk into our venue and start noticing how our vision of greenery and florals had filled the entire space. Not only that but all signage and tables had beautiful accent pieces. My groomsmen, who are not at all the kind of men to comment on flowers, talked about how much they loved their boutonnieres. Our bridesmaids were insistent on keeping their bouquets, and guests throughout the night were asking about the table pieces. Also Melanie made sure to add pieces to our desert table that completely transformed the look!
The most important thing was that she checked in with us days prior, and days after to make sure that everything was flawless. I would highly recommend Gingersnap Florals, as Melanie gives you all the attention and a bespoke experience! She really does go above and beyond expectations! -

Melanie at GingerSnap Florals was an absolute dream to work with! After several calls with local LA florists, I was referred to Melanie & we immediately clicked. I had a vision for our centerpieces no one was willing to even try & she knew what I wanted with little explanation! She did a fantastic job on all the florals & centerpieces for our wedding & I'm so very grateful to have found her! -

Melanie and GingerSnap Florals literally MADE my wedding! From our first meeting I knew I was in great hands. Melanie is sweet, knowledgeable and has a great eye for color and design. I gave her very little direction ("bright colors and succulents in my bouquet") and man did she deliver.
We had a very small wedding (31 guests) which meant I could focus more on having things look exactly the way I wanted. The flowers were the most important thing to me - they were what I was centering the whole wedding atmosphere around. The tablescape looked EXACTLY how I had pictured it in my head, which is amazing since my direction was so nonspecific! She had wonderful recommendations for flowers to stay within my budget and everything she showed up with on the big day was absolutely gorgeous. I cannot recommend her enough! -

We talked to so many florists to find the perfect fit for us and she was the only one willing to give us her advice and opinion whereas everyone else just wanted a Pinterest photo to copy. She was helpful throughout the planning stages of our wedding and we ended up having her arrange greenery & succulent garland for our dining tables, a sweetheart table design, as well as additional greenery for our various additional tables and booths. Her work was stunning and helped us achieve a picturesque wedding. -

She was patient helping me figure out what I wanted and had such great ideas that made the whole wedding more beautiful. Melanie’s ideas like adding spray roses to each place setting, and decorating the cake made me enjoy our flowers even more and I cannot wait to continue to enjoy them when we get our pictures! Jane Sent on 08/24/2018Melanie did the flowers for my daughter's wedding, and they were truly lush and beautiful. She used lovely flowers in all the colors my daughter wanted and worked with her to make sure the style was what my daughter liked. She met with us to work out what my daughter wanted and also visited the venue with us. She had creative ideas and made everything lovely. She also stayed on-site during the wedding, moving flower cages from the steps where the ceremony was held over to the sweetheart table afterwards in order to take full advantage of the arrangements in the best places. We even got to enjoy having some of the centerpieces in our home afterwards for our "day after" brunch for out of town guests. Her prices were very reasonable and I would definitely recommend using her.

Rachel Sent on 08/12/2018Quite simply, Melanie made our special day even more incredible by adding her magic to it. Upon first meeting with Melanie, her passion and knowledge are quite inspiring. My now husband and I gave Melanie some loose thoughts and ideas of the rustic, overgrown-English-country-garden feeling we were thinking of for our wedding inside of an old library and she produced arrangements that quite literally took our breath away. Our guests kept commenting on the stunning and gorgeous arrangements and were surprised to learn that we didn't break the bank for such spectacular work. Melanie clearly finds great joy in this field, which makes having her spirit around such a big event such a relieving and positive experience. I have already recommended her to friends who are planning their own weddings, and I gladly add my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to her here! Melanie, thank you for lending your talent to our wedding - you helped to make it more beautiful than we could have ever dreamed
