I cannot say enough positive things about Gina Tarbell and her team! They did such a beautiful job on my wedding day. Gina was very quick to respond in the planning process and made payment and contract signing very easy. Her prices were very affordable, especially for the great work they did. I am not a big make up person so I was worried about looking too “fake” as I have felt this way as a bridesmaid in friends weddings in the past. Gina was recommended by my wedding planner and I loved that on her website it said “Our style is considered to be more natural. Our goal for all of our brides is to enhance their natural beauty, so that they look and feel like the best version of themselves.” This was exactly what I was looking for and it was executed flawlessly! My hair and make up trial was relaxed and easy at her salon in Oneonta. The make up looked perfect and they were also able to try out a couple of hair styles as I was deciding between a side swept look versus a half up look. My plan had been for my florist to make a flower crown to wear on wedding day. On wedding day the flower crown that my florist provided did not end up being quite what I was expecting, but Gina’s team saved the day! They ended up removing the individual flowers from the crown and individually placing them in my braided half up, half down style. It was a perfect look complemented beautifully by the ethereal make up. I felt beautiful but still myself the whole day and my wedding party looked drop dead gorgeous! They worked with everyone’s skin tone and hair type perfectly. I keep looking back at my wedding photos thinking who are these movie stars? Gina’s team worked quickly and efficiently. They were able to work with my timeline, which included a goat yoga session early morning. I went to them right after the goat yoga session and I was a hot mess with pieces of grass and goat treats still in my hair, but they were still able to work their magic and turn me into a stunning bride! I am so grateful to have had such a caring, talented, and cool group of beauty artists on my wedding day and I cannot recommend them enough. You will NOT regret hiring them!

From the first time I spoke with Annie I felt confident that she was the right pick for my wedding day. She is so sweet, patient and talented! I do not wear makeup, so I was pretty clueless and had endless questions for her. She was responsive and informative no matter what my question was! On my wedding day, she was there early to set up and made me feel like the prettiest version of myself! Annie’s work was flawless, even with my smoky eyes, she managed to make it look natural. Annie and Gina are top notch people, and Annies work is just an extension of that. Thank you Gina Tarbell for your recommendation!

I LOVE GINA!! I honestly could not say enough good things about her! I have had my hair and make up done so many times in my life but nobody has ever made me feel as beautiful as Gina did. I booked her pretty late after my previous hair/make up artist cancelled and we did not have time for a trial. Despite that, she immediately understood what I wanted and executed it perfectly! She was very communicative, open, and awesome at listening and also giving great feedback. Not only is she amazing at hair and make up but she is just an all around wonderful person. I was definitely feeling the nerves and anxiety on my wedding day but she was so sweet and so calming. She even hung around after I was finished to give my bridesmaids some help and tips with hair and I wished I could have paid her more! You will love her!

Gina wasn't available for my wedding day so I booked Mary, Gina's freelance hairstylist first. I still needed a makeup artist so I asked Gina to keep an eye out for someone, and she came through! I booked Michelle Brown through Gina, and both Mary and Michelle did a wonderful job. We all looked and felt amazing. I definitely recommend Gina's team!

Gina was very responsive and great to work with. When I met with her for my trial, she gave me tips on how to make my skin look top notch for my big day. She told me exactly what I needed to be ready on wedding day and showed up at my B&B ready to go. Her and Monica did all of my bridesmaids hair and most of their make-up. It was great because she would start one and do a little and move to the next and then come back and finish. My bridesmaids drank champagne and enjoyed the morning. It was perfect. My hair turned out amazing. I've never had an up-do look so good! And my make-up was very natural - exactly how I wanted it. Her airbrush technique was so cool and made my skin look flawless. I was very grateful to get her for my wedding and would absolutely recommend her!

I got married in September 2017 and was absolutely blown away by our experience working with Gina and Monica. They both clearly have a lot of experience working and mastering wedding hair and makeup, and I am incredibly grateful to have found such talented women to work with.

I have to credit Gina and Monica with starting my wedding day out perfectly. Myself, my bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother-in-law were all raving about how talented Gina and Monica were and repeatedly said how beautiful they felt. Gina asked every woman what style of makeup they wanted and gave feedback, asked questions, and then delivered stunning results. Monica did the same and was able to recreate amazing updo's from a simple picture, and create brand-new styles for those who didn't have pictures and only described what they were looking for. Everything resulted in all of us being extremely happy and feeling exceptionally beautiful!

Gina was amazing to work with! All of us (bridesmaids and myself) are still raving about how beautiful we felt on my wedding day. My hair and makeup was done to perfection. She was such a pleasure to work with too, very professional yet friendly as could be - which is important because you want someone talented who is also fun to work with since the getting ready process is such a special time. My makeup and hair turned out even better than what I imagined. I really appreciated her listening to what I envisioned looking like but also offering some ideas on what works best. She is very talented and you can tell she has years of experience specifically with wedding hair and makeup. In the end I am so grateful that I was able to work with her because she made me feel extra special on my wedding day and also made all my bridesmaids feel special too.

I had a group of 8 having hair and makeup done for 2pm. Gina and Monica came in at 9am and had us all camera ready by 2pm and we even started a little late. Gina is AWESOME my trial with her was at her shop which is so beautiful and relaxed, she listened to my ideas and tweaked them so they were wedding stunners. I'm a very plain hair and no makeup person and she somehow embraced that and had me looking like a bride in a magazine. Gina comes to wherever you are getting ready which cuts a ton of stress out of your day. I can't imagine having to have gone to a salon then to the venue. I would 100% recommend Gina to any bride in the upstate NY area. She is not only amazing at what she does but a delight to talk to.

Gina's work is absolute perfection. She did my hair and makeup for my wedding in Vermont and it was beyond my expectations. I sent her pinterest photos of this hair style and makeup style that I wanted for my wedding. I knew it would come out great because I had looked through her instagram account and she has done great work. It was BEYOND my expectations. It honestly looked better than the pinterest picture. She was super professional and attentive to texts and phone calls. She made my makeup look super natural and beautiful. I would absolutely recommend her to anybody!

Gina is AMAZING! Love her! She does a fantastic job. She drove all the way to my house for my makeup trial because I had a crazy schedule and I was traveling. On the day of the wedding, she kept everyone calm and of course made us look glamorous and beautiful! A++++
