We booked Giacomo’s for our wedding reception. We had a 60 person wedding in the morning at a church in Des Plaines, followed by a luncheon at Giacomo’s. From beginning to end, the whole staff was a pleasure to work with. We spoke mostly with Anna Maria about our plans for the luncheon, and she is so wonderful! She helped us plan the menu and reception and was so sweet and seemed genuinely interested and excited to help us plan things. For the meal, we decided on bruschetta appetizers, cream of chicken rice soup, gnocchi with vodka sauce, chicken vesuvio, sausage & peppers, and mixed vegetables. For dessert they served ice cream with our wedding cake (cake was from a bakery). The food was absolutely delicious!! We got so many compliments on how good the food was. The service was awesome, not only on the day of the wedding but throughout the planning process and while setting up the day before the wedding. Every time we went in there or called, Anna Marie and the staff were so nice and happy to help us out and answer our questions. We brought in a microphone and speaker for music and speeches and also a projector and screen to do a slideshow. Everything was beautiful and it was such an awesome day for us. We couldn’t have picked a better place for our celebration. I would highly recommend Giacomo’s.
