The floral design made the wedding. Sherry sourced unique, special flowers specific to our aesthetics, and their team brought our vision to life. They're highly professional, flexible, and unbelievably talented. We have already booked again for my sister's wedding in October of 2019!!

This is the second time using Gertie Mae's and Sherry Donnelly for a daughters wedding. Once again she stunned us with her beautiful florals. She had wonderful ideas on how to transform our warehouse space. She even went above and beyond to bring bouquets to our airbnb for bridesmaids pics before heading to the venue. Sherry and her team blew me away. She captured my vision for the florals at my wedding perfectly and seriously helped make my day pure magic. All the little details in her arrangements really make them stand out and were the unique elements I was looking for. She even created a custom moss and floral wall for a photo opp at the reception.

Gertie Mae's is without a doubt one of the BEST decisions I made for my fall wedding at Neverland Farms - BOOK NOW!! Sherry, the owner, took excellent care of me from start to finish, and it was an absolute pleasure working with her. She is a true artist and creates personalized florals that are a cut above. I shared my vision as being organic-looking with seasonal foliage and with deep, rich fall colors. With that, she created the most beautiful and unique bouquets, boutonnieres and arrangements I've ever seen, filled with burgundy dahlias, orange roses, hypericum berries, kale (!!!), etc. I have had countless guests say "WOW, your florals are some of the most beautiful I have seen and that bouquet is just so you!" Needless to say, her work made our wedding even more magical and reflected our personalities.

Sherry was nothing short of a dream to work with! She listened to everything I said from the very first day when we walked the venue to discuss my vision to the wedding day. She re-did the quote multiple times as #'s, arrangements, and budgets changed and always rolled with the changes unfazed. Everything was simply gorgeous on the day and I don't have a single regret leaving the floral design in Sherry's capable hands!

The flowers were the biggest part of my wedding vision. I scoured the Atlanta area and had consultations with several floral studios, but when I welcomed Sherry into my home, I felt like I had known her for years. We sat and chatted over coffee and discussed our mutual love affair with all things naturally foraged. I had seen some of her previous work and had a different vision from the typical symmetrical bouquet with designated colors. We had such a great time exploring all of our options and I felt like we were on the same wavelength from the first meeting up to the day of the wedding. She has such enthusiasm for what she does and her years of experience in the wedding industry show in her impeccable execution of the finished product. I feel like she made my floral dreams come true and as an added bonus, feel like I made a new friend in the process.

One of the vendors I was most excited to pick out during the wedding planning process was the florist. I just love flowers! When I initially looked online into florists I stumbled across Gertie Mae’s, and knew this was a vendor I wanted to keep in mind. After my coordinator sent me list of recommended vendors, and I saw Gertie Mae’s on the list I knew it was meant to be. We had a consultation with Sherry at my venue and went over ideas for the ceremony and reception site. She was so great and really took the time to go over every detail with me and understand my vision. Sherry had very creative ideas and made wonderful recommendations while being mindful of my budget.

On the day of the wedding Sherry and her team were hard at work getting everything setup perfectly despite the heat. It was an extremely hot day, but they weren’t discouraged by the heat one bit. I was blown away by the gorgeous flower arrangements, bouquets, and floral arch she executed. I really loved seeing everything come together, and it definitely would not have been the same without Sherry’s touch! She truly has a gift and exceeded my expectations in every way imaginable. We’ve received so many compliments from guests on how beautiful and lush the florals at our wedding were. I would highly recommend working with Sherry, she is not only super talented, but a delightful, and kind person!

Sherry was such a pleasure to work with while planning our wedding. I chose Sherry because I know that she has such an artistic gift with flowers. We had heard about her through a family friend and our wedding venue. We decided to choose Gertie Mae's because of their ability to create beautiful works of art from just a few little guidelines. Sherry definitely delivered beyond my expectations. I went through the general colors I liked and the style of flowers and she put together beautiful arrangements that went with our other decor and venue perfectly. Sherry was very responsive with email and phone calls and was very accommodating to meet with me in person as I was planning an out of town wedding.

Gertie Mae's was one of the wedding vendors that I got to know the most through the wedding planning experience. Sherry is such a delight to work with and has such a kind demeanor. I liked how she guided us with her expertise and artistry. I also loved the special touch of getting to see her and thank her on my wedding day when she personally delivered my bouquet to the room where all the girls were getting ready. My husband even enjoyed meeting her for the first time that day when she delivered his boutonniere. I could tell she was very proud of her work and I was so thrilled to have such gorgeous flowers for my wedding day. Even my dad who thought we could just do without flowers noticed how much of a statement the arrangements made and commented on how beautiful and unique the flowers were. He admitted it was worth it! I could not thank Sherry and her team enough for providing such a great service for our wedding!

Sherry is absolutely amazing! She made my wedding perfect with every detail. Sherry was so easy to talk to and work with. I was lost when it came to flowers but she made sure to ask all the right questions to find out exactly what I wanted. She even created an amazing alter piece off of a photo I showed her that included some very intricate work and it was perfect! Sherry is an artist and knows exactly how to make any space beautiful, she made my wedding even more special with her attention to detail. She did more than flowers - Sherry truly creates the atmosphere and she does it beautifully! She brought in fabulous votives and candlesticks, her flowers were magnificent, and she made herself available throughout the crazy wedding planning process and handled everything with ease. We hired Sherry because she did an amazing job with my sister's wedding and she showed me exactly why my sister loves her so much. Sherry is 100% there for you and her work is amazing. I still have friends talking about the flowers at my wedding. If I could rate Sherry higher than a 5.0 I would!
