Such an amazing experience with the best hospitality

Genettis Best Western did a wonderful job. From the beginning of the process to the end it was amazing. With Covid there were some bumps but were smoothed out immediately with assistance from both Daniel and Megan in sales. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect, and everyone told us how great of a time they had. Thank you Genettis for a beautiful experience for our wedding. We will always recommend you!!

Genetti Hotel and Conference center made sure our wedding was so beautiful. The pricing was very reasonable and we had a lot of food options! Elizabeth and the staff at Genetti's made our wedding amazing. Elizabeth allowed me to do almost everything I wanted to do, and worked with me to make sure it was so beautiful. Thank you to Elizabeth! After a day of taste testing different venues we arrived at Genetti Hotel. We were looking for a venue that had a hotel within the same building due to the fact that 90% of our guests were from out of town. I knew we had found what we had been looking for after our initial meeting with Elizabeth, not only was the food amazing & the venue extremely clean and beautiful, our ultimate deciding factor was Elizabeth herself. We no longer lived in the area so we were planning the wedding long distance from Chicago. One of the most important things to us was being able to work with someone at the venue who would be able to respond to our calls and emails whenever we had questions (believe me there was a million). Not only would Elizabeth return my email/calls as soon as possible, she never seemed annoyed with the number or times we called/ emailed. She was so nice and helpful. The venue was absolutely gorgeous with so many ballrooms to choose from, we had a hard time picking one out. The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful. We couldn’t believe that housekeeping cleaning the entire suite the bridesmaids got ready in after they had left for the ceremony and by the time they came back in a hour to touch up hair and make up before the reception downstairs, the room was spotless. On the day of the wedding Elizabeth was a lifesaver, not only did she decorate the entire ballroom way above our expectations, she was also extremely helpful keeping us on track with our timeline of the night and making sure everything went smoothly. She went above and beyond accommodating our guest. One of our guests had just had her wisdom teeth removed the day prior, due to the recovery and pain she couldn’t eat much of the food. After I told Elizabeth about the situation, she went out of her way to get the guest soup and other soft foods which weren’t on our menu. Wow! Also our bar tender Mary was also amazing! Thank you to everyone at Genetti Hotel!!

Genetti's Oyster wedding was amazing! Lindsay was fabulous helping us with every little detail to get it perfect, and she succeeded! The up-lighting was amazing and the room looked just like how I pictured the perfect wedding to be. The food was OUTSTANDING! I loved the vallet for our guests, butter service, suite for 2 nights for my husband and I, and having everything included so we only had to pay one price for food, drinks, linens, chairs, cake, flowers, and everything else that was included that is typically not. Guests still keep telling my husband and I that our wedding was one of the best wedding they have ever been too. I highly recommend an Oyster wedding for a beautiful, elegant wedding!

My Oyster wedding was simply magical!

Lindsay, the wedding planner, was absolutely fantastic! I cannot rave about her enough. The planning process was stress free due to her expertise. She is extremely detail orientated and every request I had was met with open arms and enthusiasm. She is truly the BEST in the industry – it is no wonder David Tutera picked her to shadow him a few months ago! You can tell she loves what she does and it shows through her work and dedication to making her brides happy. Whether it be via phone or email, Lindsay was always available and prompt when corresponding with me. My mind was always at ease knowing she was at the forefront of the planning.

The food, décor, cake, flowers, and ceremony space all exceeded my expectations. The staff was professional and courteous and our head waiter, Michael was fantastic! He went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed throughout the night. I was having issues bustling my dress and Michael went to get Lindsay to help and also brought over my dessert so I could have a few bites while I waited.

I would recommend an Oyster wedding to anyone – it was everything I dreamed of and more.

Lindsay and the team at Genettis made our big day so amazing. Lindsay was very helpful with every single step leading up to the wedding. She made us feel at ease that everything would be perfect for our big day and she did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing. The service was spot on and perfect. We strongly suggest that you should book your wedding there. It will be perfect!!

I'm so glad we picked this place for our wedding. Lindsay made everything as stress free as possible and helped us with a lot. This place is very affordable and elegant, plus they recommend some affordable vendors, which was a huge help.

We just had our Oyster wedding at Genettis and it was fabulous! It is not the same Genettis that used to host your high school prom! The up lighting, table setting, and decor was beautiful and the food was delicious; everyone raved about it for days after. However the best part for me as a bride was Lindsay and the staff's attention and service. Lindsay made me feel at ease right from our first meeting. She helped us build our perfect package and was always available when I needed her. I can honestly say that I was not stressed over the reception because I knew she was handling it.
Lindsay was incredibly helpful and then there was Michael! Thanks to Michael We never had an empty drink or empty plate. He also made sure to make our families feel special as well.
