I cannot wait to write Karen a review because she is so GREAT! She is talented and great at her job. Meanwhile, she is easy to work with and offered us beautiful arrangements at a very affordable price. She literally helps me to have a perfect wedding. Have to recommend her to everyone I know in the area. She is absolutely amazing and we are so happy with our choice.

My husband and I searched for a while to find the perfect florist for our wedding. Karen and her staff at Genesis definitely made our wedding amazing. We had concerns (given all the drama in the news about gay weddings) to find a vendor that would be LGBT welcoming. Karen and her staff were amazingly welcoming and worked to make our day amazing.

We were engaged in the tropics and so we wanted to bring some of that style to our reception. We pulled in various flowers into our pinterest board (I cannot stress enough how helpful a pinterest board was for this) and worked on seeing what we liked and what we didn’t like. We also worked to make sure that the wedding was not covered in white roses or such (the benefit of a gay wedding is that we can be as nontraditional as we want to be for the event).

Karen and her staff made our floral dreams come true. We kept the wedding itself somewhat subdued (since it was in a garden, we didn’t need much more than some flowers draping on the arch and a few on the aisle). The big explosion of tropical flowers was in the reception afterwards. The tables were covered in tropical flowers (monastera and birds of paradise were the inspiration) and it was simply wonderful.

We debated how to best do the cake and decided against a topper and worked with Karen to have flowers cascading down the tiers. Karen made our idea come to life. The cake was just dripping in birds of paradise and was just beautiful. I almost didn’t want to cut it!

It was a huge success and we were very pleased with Karen and her staff at Genesis. I would highly recommend Genesis to our LGBT friends and family looking for a wedding florist.

Genesis Floral went above and beyond for our wedding! Karen was very quick to respond and provide guidance for our event. Genesis Floral did a great job staying within our budget and did not push us out of our comfort zone. Genesis Floral arrived on time with a small team to set up the event. When they were done, the reception hall looked stunning! All of their pieces were gorgeous!! Days later, guests still raved about how beautiful all of the arrangements were. We ordered our centerpieces, sweet heart table, bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, and even cake decorations. We were very impressed with the quality of the flowers and the level of detail the team put into our event. They made our wedding day even more special! We plan on using Genesis Floral again and again!

I was BLOWN AWAY by the flowers on our wedding day! I still can’t believe how PERFECT they were! When I first contacted Genesis Floral, I knew what I wanted in my mind, but couldn’t find a single photo that captured it all. So we talked a lot, I shared photos of things I did like, colors I wanted and of course, the budget I had to work with. There was some back and forth, some creative ideas on how to get the look but stay under budget. I trusted their expertise and was not disappointed! Genesis Floral took all my hopes and dreams, and delivered the most beautiful wedding flowers I’ve ever seen (though I am 100% biased).

We were so pleased with Genesis Floral! They were able to take my lack of flower knowledge and make my vision come to life just by me sending pictures of things that I liked. Our arch that they created was absolutely stunning along with all of our centerpieces and decorations. They even gave us extra decor items such as a vase, candles, and lanterns that really added to our aesthetic. We were so so pleased! They were so easy to work with!

Karen Martinez was great to work with as we sorted through the details entirely over email. She was very patient with changes and made thoughtful recommendations. Her team arrived early for the wedding which was appreciated! The flowers were worth every penny!
