Gateway to the Arctic is a wedding venue located near Talkeetna, Alaska. The venue is situated just two hours north of Anchorage, facilitating added convenience for couples and their out-of-town guests. Here, couples will find breathtaking scenery, an inviting atmosphere, and a peaceful setting to start their forever.

Facilities and Capacity

This 100-acre property includes indoor and outdoor event spaces to create an idyllic, rustic Alaskan wedding and precious memories to be treasured for a lifetime. Private getting ready rooms are available to ensure that the newlyweds-to-be and their wedding party have a comfortable place to prepare before the event begins. The venue’s lush green lawn behind the Keystone Lodge offers a tranquil site for the couple to say their vows in front of their loved ones. In addition, majestic Mount Denali in the background allows for a stunning backdrop for wedding photos. Receptions can also be held outdoors, where couples and their guests can enjoy socializing, dining, and dancing under a magical star-filled sky. The Keystone Lodge can host indoor ceremonies and receptions for up to 200 guests. This expansive area boasts a cozy fireplace, which further adds to the venue’s warm and welcoming ambience.

Everything we dreamed and more...

We loved this magical setting for our special day. The lodge is placed right in full view of Denali, and surrounded by trees. Not only were the staff incredible at attending to our needs, they went above and beyond ensuring our event was special. Would recommend to anyone wanting a secluded, beautiful backdrop to celebrate the start of their marriage!

Beautiful place!

G2A was the perfect setting for our wedding, we couldn't have asked for anything more amazing! We had the perfect rustic wedding but with all the right amenities to make this day special and everything go smoothly.

Amazing wedding venue

My husband and I loved this location for our wedding! The space is versatile for all wedding styles and decor. The lodge kitchen was very accommodating to our needs, and the Camp staff was friendly and helpful. Let alone the amazing beauty of Denali and the natural setting!! Highly recommend this location.

Beautiful Venue with Great Staff

The staff works hard to make the experience exactly what you want it to be. They made major improvements to the lodge and cabins right before our wedding. The only down side was the heaters did not work well in the cabins and our guests were cold (our wedding was in February) but since our wedding was over 2 years ago I am unsure if that has already been resolved. Besides that there was lots of parking and an amazingly spectacular view of Denali. The lodge was warm and well lit. The kitchen was the perfect size for our caterers and all of our guests raved about our wonderful venue. It was well worth every penny we paid.

Extremely kind, had a perfect day!!

As soon as I saw G2A I knew I wanted to have our wedding there. It is gorgeous, unique, and very reasonably priced. There were a lot of pros and only a few cons with the major being responsiveness. If you are a type A bride needing to check things off, the return time on getting someone to email you back can be on the order of weeks. I will say they were transitioning into a new wedding coordinator, Morgan at the time, so the lag was most likely due to this.

On Morgan, her and her husband were absolutely a dream to work with. They helped greatly in ensuring our day was perfect and ran smoothly! We were even able to hire them as our bartenders and it made our lives so much easier, not to mention they rocked it. Morgan was extremely kind and provided so many things and supported so many little details I could not be more thankful for her help.

The venue itself was so dreamy. It was March when we held the wedding so there was a ton of snow and they cleared all the paths and made sure the wood burning stove was running and keeping the place warm. We had the ceremony and reception in the same place and it worked out very well (with the help of Morgan, her husband, and our planner) to make the transition seamless. G2A also has a gorgeous backdrop of Denali giving everyone who trekked out to AK a treat and certainly some AK vibes.

They also have two houses on site which we were able to purchase for the wedding parties (one each) and I spent the morning getting ready in the bridesmaid house. The only other con from G2A was the second Aribnb where the boys were staying was clearly being lived in beforehand and they had to do some cleaning to feel comfortable. This had no impact on the venue itself though.

Overall we had the wedding of our dreams and I'm thankful G2A was the space it was held at. I would recommend it and their coordinator, Morgan, to others!
