Tony does a wonderful job with flowers!! He did my wedding and my two sisters weddings as well. We would not have wanted it any other way. The flowers were beautiful! I had some accents that I had purchased that I wanted in our bouquets and Tony was more than willing to use them. He is very reasonably priced and I would go to him for any flowers I would need.

I worked with Tony at Garden Gate, and had a VERY pleasant experience. I told him what I wanted, he gave input, and then we worked together to come up with beautiful floral arrangements that were within our budget. He had great ideas and the knowledge to execute it perfectly on our wedding day. I couldn't be more pleased!

Overall I was very happy with how our flowers turned out. I kept changing my mind and Tony was very flexible with me through it all. He is definitely an artistic man, and has a good sense of what works and doesn't, and which flowers will be more expensive than others. The process of working with him was overwhelming at times. He always seemed a bit unprepared for our meetings but then in the meeting itself he was full of great ideas and really seemed to "get" my ideas. The fact that we stayed in budget and he executed my vision perfectly makes me confident in recommending him to other brides, with the warning that his organizational skills are a bit eccentric. He's an artsy type but he's great at his job!

My Mom and I stopped into the Garden Gate and asked to set up an appointment for a bridal consult.
We were told he was too busy to meet that day which we understood, he set up the following Tuesday to meet but when we arrived he again said he was too busy that day.
Soooo we rescheduled again, at that meeting he told us what we wanted and did not listen at all.
Because he was so highly recommended we decided to give it one more shot and test things out on our own, so my Mom ordered a sample arrangement for my bridal shower (she said it was around $100) trying to be specific of the ideas I liked. She had it delivered and although it was pretty it included only 1 of the requested flower types and colors and was filled in with some silk flowers not all fresh. When she called to question it he was unapologetic and rude.
We ended up finding someone else for the actual wedding.

Total disappointment, totally disorganized. My wife was so upset with the flowers and we spent way too much.

I could not have been more disappointed in the Garden Gate. My flowers were not what I ordered at ALL!
From the fact that he placed them in a plastic holder instead of hand tied, to the SILK hydrangea instead of the fresh I ordered, and the fact there were no peonies at all when I wanted all peonies and hydrangea; I literally cried when I saw the bouquets.
Tony was unresponsive when I tried to explain how upset I was.
At our appointment, (which took almost 2 months before he would "fit me in", this after he had a $500 deposit from my Mom ) he seemed so nice, but he just did not seem to be listening, but everyone recommended him and said he was reasonable and his work amazing. I asked if I could see the bouquets ahead and he said sure, but when I stopped in to see he said they weren't done yet.
He had this way of telling me what I did or did not want or could or could not have, he made me feel like an inconvenience.
Moving on to the Reception. We had asked about tall vases filled with fresh flowers, he showed me his opera vases, when he showed them to me they were full of silk greens he asid he could add fresh to those and it would fill up nicely. I said I would prefer all fresh and to give me a quote for each. He never gave me a quote that day, but I called back 3-4 times and asked, finally I said, just go all fresh and I dropped off a photo for him, it was a tall arrangement with green sticks off the top, and a small ball of hydrangea, peonies, and filler flowers at the base, about the size of a bouquet.... I told him to do 1/2 the tables in these as we were doing our own thing on the other 1/2. He said, great but it will cost you, I said fine, he never gave me an itemized contract ahead of time, but by my estimate I would guess He charged me @ $200 a piece, I got to the reception, they were the same AWFUL silk greens, with a few silk hydranges and about 6-8 fresh roses tucked in.
I would not say it was a value at all, my bill was over $2,500 and I hated everything. He never even apologized and has never responded to anything afterwards.
He was rude to our cake lady, when she asked about the rose petals I ordered for the cake table he said I did not order them, and she had to purchase them herself.

Horrible customer service! Ever since Tony ( owner) went ill, the men he has working under him are extremely rude, cuss at you and are extremely pushy! DO NOT USE FOR YOUR WEDDING!!!!! They will forget bouquets and add weird flowers that you did not want! They do not own up to their mistakes and when you call them to ask about missing bouquets, they say" Are you f**cking with me?" Seriously, what kind of way is that to talk to a customer?
These men are running Tony's business straight into the ground!
