Reviews of Garden Club of Saint Petersburg

I fell in love with this place as soon as I saw it. We ended up having our ceremony on a bridge in the middle of the garden, with the beach in the background; it was absolutely beautiful!
We had approximately 80 guests: the reception hall was spacious and there was a lot of room for dancing and mingling. There is also a large, semi-enclosed patio (we were prepared to use this in case of rain) and plenty of parking space. We looked everywhere and couldn't find a better value for our needs.
There was plenty of time to decorate the entire area the night before the wedding, and I had plenty of opportunities to visit the Club beforehand. Carol was very helpful during the whole process, and I could reach her easily by phone or email.
I am so glad we chose this place; the entire evening turned out perfect, and I would choose the Garden Club again in a heartbeat!

This place is an unknown treasure in the Tampa Bay area!!

Close to the beaches, nestled in the middle of a quite neighborhood right on the water, awesome gardens and the rental fee was the best out of any venue we looked at!! If your a bride on a budget who doesn't want to sacrifice her venue, then this is the place for you!! Also, the venue coordinator, Carol, was awesome to work with. Not sure how many times I called her asking the same questions over and over, and she never seemed to be frustrated with my questions. Carol was also very flexible when it came to the venue. To boot, they have left over vases and other wedding reception items from previous weddings that she'll let you use at no cost. On our wedding day, that really helped us out.

The only thing you may need is a little imagination. This venue is definitely a blank canvas! One thing I would suggest, don't judge the venue by their website and take a drive out there. It's well worth it!!

All in all, we could not have asked for a better venue!!

We chose this venue for the lush greenery that surrounds the entire building. Living in Florida, I've always imagined a beach or garden wedding. Though there is no beach, it looks out onto the Gulf of Mexico allowing a relaxing breeze to sweep over the grounds giving us the benefit of both! (Minus the sand)

The building accommodates up to 200 people with a full restaurant style kitchen for your vendors with two refrigerators, two ranges, and two sinks. There's also a large covered porch providing the option to take the celebration outside. I even had a private changing room big enough to fit all my bridesmaids for our prep for the big moment!

Very happy with our choice! This will be our 'go-to' venue for all our large functions in the future!!

Great location for a spring wedding. Wisteria is in bloom early-mid April. Large room with high ceilings can accommodate 200-250. We had a pretty small wedding-75-- nice to have lots of room to maneuver & dance without feeling cramped. Large covered side patio--Bathrooms are dated, but overall, the room is a nice blank canvas--they were pretty open to most of my decorating plans. Rental of black linens offered on site for very reasonable fee. We chose this location for convenience--close to our home & close to Treasure Island hotels, so overnight guests can enjoy the beach & keep driving to a minimum. Must clean & vacate the premises by 11:30 pm.
