We loved the venue because it’s got beautiful inside and outside space. The Frutig team has renovated the valley so well! It’s designed so thoughtfully, including individual spaces for both bridal parties to get ready. On top of that, the team is responsive and has great ideas and experience to make your dat amazing! Highly recommend.

The Valley at Frutig Farms was truly the best wedding venue we could have imagined. It has the perfect elevated, cozy, rustic feel, with the most beautiful construction, lighting, and design details throughout. Every space feels intentional and special, and the venue offers multiple areas to explore and host different parts of the event while still flowing together seamlessly.

Kelly and Ed have done an amazing job building The Valley into the ultimate wedding venue. They are a true well-oiled wedding machine — they know the ins and outs of weddings, provide expert guidance, and have an incredibly professional staff that makes the large task of wedding planning feel so much simpler. Their organization and experience made everything easier from start to finish.

The location is also wonderful: just 10–15 minutes outside of Ann Arbor and close enough to a major airport to make travel easy for out-of-town guests. My now-husband and I would not have had our wedding anywhere else. Our wedding day truly felt like a dream, and we could not be more grateful.

We could not have imagined a more perfect venue than The Frutig Farm in Ann Arbor! We were looking for something rustic, personable, and quaint, yet big enough to host all of our guests comfortably and this venue checked every box.

Some of our favorite parts included the gorgeous old barn with its original beams and wood, the farmhouse tables that made dinner feel warm and intimate, and the beautiful grounds that were so well maintained. The fact that it’s a small, family-owned venue really shows; the care, attention, and personal touches made all the difference.

Throughout the planning process (especially being from out of state), the team—Kelly, Ed, and Kaitlin—were incredibly responsive and supportive. They went above and beyond to bring our vision to life and made the day truly seamless.

Really don't have one negative thing to say!!! The staff at Frutig (big shout-outs to Kaitlin and Adam in particular) pulled everything off without a hitch!! The biggest endorsement: all of our guests had the most amazing time, all weekend (as the night-before-the-wedding festivities were there as well), and made sure to tell us that! Now, there were a LOT of moving parts and service providers; the events took place in every section of the property; and the weather was literally mid-summer one day and early spring the next (!) -- yet the staff pivoted gracefully and moved the ceremony indoors, heated the tent and other outdoor areas, etc. It was truly a magical setting for an equally magical weekend, and it was worth every penny!!! The entire weekend is now carved indelibly in our minds as one of our most cherished memories, ever...BRAVO, Frutig, bravo!!! And thank you!!

My husband and I cannot recommend Frutig Farms enough as the most wonderful place to host a wedding and reception. Kelly, Ed, and the staff at Frutig, from the beginning to the end, were delightful to work with. They treated us as treasured friends/family who genuinely took the time to answer our questions, guide us in our decisions, and took such great care of us and our guest that we had no worries about our celebration not going well. When all was said and done, we felt like they were not just vendors hosting our reception but were truly a loved part of our celebration. You cannot go wrong in choosing Frutig Farms in being a part of your wedding.

We had a beautiful wedding at the Valley a few weeks ago. Ed, Adam, Kaitlyn & the whole team made our event wonderful & easy to understand. From the big pictures to the little details that make up the whole day, the Frutig Farms Team was awesome, understanding, patient & knowledgeable. They have a great system for the bar ordering that saved us money, a flow chart that made all of our decisions make sense, & the creative capacity to make any vision come true.

The venue itself is spacious & compartmental which allowed for separate areas for dining, dancing, mingling & getting ready. The barn also had a spacious kitchen area which gave our food vendors the space & refrigeration needed to serve all 150 of our guests. The house PAs/mixing system were fantastic & kept everyone on the dance floor all night. They also have adorable donkeys out back, a beautiful stream by the outside wedding ceremony space & a really neat outside bar that our guests loved.

Ed, Kelly & team- THANK YOU! We were originally scheduled to get married in June at a completely different venue and COVID completely changed that, but we could not be more thankful that things worked out the way that they did! We were married at Misty Farm, which is absolutely STUNNING. Ed & Kelly were so incredibly kind and helpful as we transitioned our wedding to this new venue, and they executed our vision perfectly! The staff was very professional and helpful throughout the evening. The sailcloth tent was a stunning bonus to the already stunning grounds.. honestly you can't go wrong! We highly recommend Frutig Farms- you will not be disappointed!

Where to even begin!? My husband and I got married at The Valley earlier this past September and we can honestly say this was one of the best decisions of our entire lives. The stress of finding that perfect venue to get married at is pretty tough. We went venue touring for a few weeks, and as cliche as it sounds, when we first stepped foot on Frutig Farms-The Valley property we both looked at each other and said "we are getting married here." It has the most magical views, landscape is pristine, and the barn venue was absolutely perfect for the vibe that we intended to have. During our initial visit, Ed took us through the site and our mouths dropped with how PERFECT it was. Multiple spaces for ceremony options, indoor/outdoor, a dinner barn with beautiful barn doors and chandeliers, a reception barn with perfectly hung lights, multiple bar areas, bridal suites for both the girls and guys, want me to go on? It has EVERYTHING you could ever dream of. Both my husband and I's family has a huge tie to farms, and it was almost like this place was where we were meant to be. And this was all the feelings only on the initial meeting with Ed!

Once we chose The Valley for our big day, the process was seamless. Both Ed and Kelly were there for us from the time we visited, to our big day. They both are the nicest humans and truly care for their clients. They are always available to answer questions, allow you to check out the space whenever you feel the need to, and help coordinate in all the ways you could think of. One amazing part about choosing Frutig Farms is that they put on a Wedding showcase where they bring in vendors for everything you could imagine on your big day (caterers, entertainment, stationary, deserts and pastries, florists etc.) This was so nice of them to offer and was beautifully put on. Professionalism is a good word to describe everything that Ed, Kelly and the Frutig Farms staff put forward. Not only are they professional, but so down to earth. We can happily say we have formed such a strong bond and friendship with this family through our wedding planning process that we plan on staying close for the years to come!

The venue allows for a rehearsal dinner time the day before, and the staff is there to help as well. They take so much stress off of you, and that is beyond appreciated as a bride and groom who have to worry about all the other details of the big day. Linens? They place them. Table layout, they've got it! Bartenders? No worry, they will staff them! Transportation? They've got golf carts! Me, my dad, and my bridesmaids were all able to ride golf carts down to our ceremony space! Little details like this did not go unnoticed and we couldn't say thank you enough!

The staff is hands down the best in the business. I can't tell you how many of our guests came up to us and said this was the best run wedding they have ever been to. Timing was PERFECT. Bartenders took the time to learn peoples names and their drink orders. During the wedding and reception Kelly made it a point to handle anything and everything we needed, without being asked to. Both Kelly, Ed, and their staff were always in positive spirits and were there until the very end of the night! From the start of our journey with wedding planning, to the very end, Ed, Kelly, and staff were there for us and supported us. That is all we could have ever wanted.

Our daughter was married at the Valley on June 29, 2019. From our first visit to look at the property on we were so impressed with Ed, Kelley and the entire staff. Barb, our coordinator was a godsend. The staff for the wedding weekend was just fabulous. Friendly, professional and they didn't miss anything. We were very happy with this venue!

The Valley is an absolutely beautiful and well curated venue, and our guests couldn't say enough great things about it. They have thought of everything, from the bathroom baskets to the 'pinterest' prop room. Plus they have the most adorable mini-donkeys! Their groom's and bride's suites are perfect for getting ready. The Valley staff was kind, responsive, and professional. Our coordinator, Barb, was incredible and so helpful in ironing out all of our details and making our day run so smoothly.

Our wedding vision was more vintage than rustic, and we had the flexibility to make it our own. Plus we loved having the venue for the whole weekend so that we could set everything up on Friday, and leave everything overnight so all we had to do on Saturday was show up. We hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Valley too, which was a great way for wedding party and families to get acclimated to the venue. We all felt very much at home!
