Jennie will create a custom ceremony that focuses on you and your love, tuning in to your vision to deliver your ceremony with warmth, inclusion, the highest standards of professionalism, and a loving vibe all around!
A background in theatrical production enables me to see the whole picture of an event, and to understand how your ceremony is orchestrated with the people and pieces that must come together to create a natural and seamless experience. FreeBird Ceremonies flew in 2016 when I combined the best parts of my theatre work, and connected them to my passion for cherishing life events with personalized ceremonies.
FreeBird Ceremonies is an ally and champion of LGBTQ+ couples. This woman-owned business celebrates love! All couples welcome! Weddings, civil unions, commitment ceremonies, vow renewals.
A believer in formal education, I hold double certification from The Celebrant Foundation & Institute as a Life Cycle Celebrant and Wedding Officiant.

Pleased to meet you! I am Jennie Landau, celebrant and owner of FreeBird Ceremonies.
Long before I had any idea of what a celebrant does, I found joy and comfort in creating ceremonies for my family.
Today, I am honored to be a certified Life-Cycle Celebrant; creating ceremonies by working closely with you - tuning in to your vision, researching customs and rituals as appropriate, finding readings that resonate with you, and infusing my natural ability to weave a most meaningful story to create a celebration that will be remembered and cherished for years to come.
I am from New York, and will always have a special place in my heart for the big tall trees, twisty-turny roads, and crisp air of Long Island. I love living in Florida, and over the years have made my home in several cities throughout the Sunshine State.
In addition to work and family, I am a lifelong yoga practitioner and musician devoted to cultivating a mind-body-spirit balance that is both grounded and lighthearted.
