He will typically meet with a couple several times prior to the wedding date in order to get to know them, and so that they can get to know him. During these meetings, discussions often include such things as how, where and when did the couple meet, what drew them together, what keeps them together, what are their goals for their future, what are their views on marriage, etc. It is also during these meetings that the couples discuss the type of ceremony they want; what readings they would like, who they would want to do the readings, if they would like to write their own vows and other 'tweaks' to the ceremony to make it as personalized and meaningful as possible. With these meetings, Fr. Jonathan is able to help couples feel more comfortable, ready, and relaxed for their wedding and for their marriage. Fr.
