I hired Julie for “Day of” services. She was amazing and very professional! I don’t know what I would have done without her! She took care of every last minute detail, She managed to get the wedding party organized and she even did a little babysitting during the reception! Julie was absolutely amazing!

We hired Forever Weddings for full wedding planning services. In summary, I wish we had gone a different direction. The saving grace was our day-of coordinator, Bri, who was incredible.

In detail, Julie wasn’t actively involved in many steps of the planning process, despite our contract stating that she would spearhead almost all of these activities. She showed up 90 minutes late to our planning meeting, gave us a timeline of what to expect of her in the next month, and then failed to deliver on what she promised. This was the case for most of our interactions.

After we signed the contract with Julie and booked our venue, all the communication I received was reactive to my prompts following up on tasks that were overdue, such as getting quotes from vendors, rather than actively moving forward on planning or doing the tasks that she had promised within the timeline she set. It felt like the only times that Julie did things for our wedding was when I prodded multiple times, and even then, the information we received was bare-bones info that could be found easily through an internet search.

I ended up doing a lot of the job that Julie was hired to do. As a result, I felt a lot of anxiety about how our wedding day would turn out and whether we would have all the vendors and extras that we needed, or whether our coordinator would even show up. I did not find that Julie was organized or attentive to details as I’d expect from a full-service planner. From my perspective, the full-service planning package that was promised was nothing like what we received. I would not recommend using this service.

All that said, our day-of coordinator, Bri, was incredible. I was so glad to have her, and she handled everything and made our day run smoothly. She was professional, organized, and communicative. I would give her 5 stars. If I could do it again, I would skip the full-service planning and just have Bri do our day-of coordination because I essentially did the full-service steps myself.

I recommend this vendor obtain more experience with any other style of event before taking on anyone else's wedding. I wish we had not gone this route.
