I met Dani B at a Chic Occasions bridal show. She was the featured make up artist for the show and she was responsible for all makep worn by models in the bridal show. The group of models for the show was comprised of women, men, boys and girls of different ethnicities and various age groups. As I looked at the models, I noticed skin complexions from the most ivory white to the darkest ebony, but everyone looked natural and flawless in their makeup. That's when I decided to find out who completed the make up for the models in the show and I was introduced to Danielle Brumadge. From the very beginning she exemplified a top level of professionalism and commitment. I watched as she conversed with the models and touched up their makeup. I checked out her own makeup and looked at all informational flyers she had on display in her booth and I reviewed her previous client photo portfolios of before and after photos. I was amazed by her work. I was a last minute bride on a budget, but I could also see that Dani B was extremely gifted and knowledgeable about makeup and skin health. I began to see the value in everything she offered as a total package. After speaking with her I also realized how important it was for her to convey the look her client wanted.
I had chosen a venue that was a little off the beaten path. It was over an hour away from Dani B's base of business. I had not even chosen a photographer at that point and my wedding was a little more than a month away. I was sure of one thing and that was that I wanted Dani B to do my bridal make up. I also had to be considerate of my bridal party. I had to responsibly choose someone who would be affordable and could accommodate the ethnicities of everyone in my bridal party. I found that talented artist in Dani B. She completed two bridal previews for me and for my wedding party to allow us comfort and control in choosing the look we wanted for the wedding.
