When we were planning our wedding, we didn’t plan on having a videographer. I shopped around and looked at about a half dozen videographers online. When I saw Bentley Weddings’ work, I knew I wanted to hire them. Seeing his work, the results spoke for themselves from the dramatic shots to the amazing drone video.

On our initial phone call, I told Darnell the only reason I wanted a videographer was because I wanted to recreate a scene from a movie and use it as our entrance. I told him exactly what I wanted, we came up with the best way to execute it, and he made it happen. I was a little nervous he’d be able to do it since he admittedly said he’s never done anything like that before but he was so thorough in trying to plan it, he came over to my house several weeks before the wedding to discuss it. The challenging part was shooting the scene during cocktail hour and then him editing it in the short window before the reception started. In the end, his editing was great and he pulled it off just before the beginning of the reception.

During the reception, I had a couple of people compliment the job he was doing which is probably unusual because you don’t see the result of their work until well after the wedding. He was out of sight when he needed to be and was front and center when called for—especially during a busy dance floor. I didn’t expect him to have so much energy hyping everyone up and it made for great video! Out of all the vendors we hired, Darnell was by far the best of them. We were so glad we hired him and will certainly refer him to anyone else we know who is planning a wedding.

My friend used Bentley Weddings and after seeing her sneak peek...it was the only videographer I will ever recommend for anyone getting married in the NJ/Philadelphia region!

We planned our wedding in 6 weeks and my only caveat was Bentley Weddings to be available. Hoping our sunrise beach wedding, they were to my delightment available!! My spouse and I cried happy tears and have watched the video dozens of times since the finished the video. Darnell has a knack for lighting, angles, and automation. He uses lots of modern day hi-tech drones and robotic cameras to capture the special day. His eye on-scene is great, but his finish-editing was PERFECT! He chose a terrific series of scenes that told our wedding story and then integrated them together to flow seamlessly.

Bentley Weddings are professional, easy to work with, and offered lots of video insight on our special day. We all had a wonderful time with th3 traditional poses but also the risky and fun amazing shots that are SO worth the time to take...and Bentley went above and beyond to capture it all perfectly.

Prices were extremely reasonable and his final product was SECOND-TO-NONE. Bentley Weddings is the only videographer we’d recommend in the Central/Southern NJ area. Book them ASAP!!

I cannot say enough great things about this vendor. Darnell was very responsive and informative in the planning stages. His ideas are amazing, and he made it a super fun day even during shooting different things. He was so excited, which made us excited in turn! Our trailer came out AMAZING (some people even said it was Hollywood level work). We cannot wait to see the rest of his work for our wedding. Darnell did an absolutely beautiful job capturing/creating our wedding trailer and wedding video. He was priced well and brought many great ideas on the best way to set up our layouts for optimal shots. Even the photographer was happy to work with him as he helped her catch great shots as well. That is what you want from a videographer, especially when you have both trying to capture our beautiful day. This man loves his craft and it shows in his work. Darnell was so professional! He was there from the beginning to the end! The amount of footage that he captured without you even noticing was amazing! Him and his fiancé worked so well together! They are definitely a great team, they were both very professional! They make you feel very comfortable! Not the mention Darnell had a trailer of what was already captured during the reception!! AMAZING! We received the official video within a few weeks after the wedding and let's just say I cried every time I watched it! It was beautiful! You can definitely tell he takes pride in what he does and I would highly recommend him to capture your special moments!

The team at Bentley Weddings were very attentive to what I wanted my special day to be captured like. From finish to start they were flexible, caring, and professional. If I had any questions or concerns I was reassured to get exactly what I wanted. I’d say you would be super happy if you choose Bentley Weddings to service your special day. We have memories that will last a lifetime from an outstanding team of professionals with affordable packages where you can add or subtract services. We are happy with our experience and love to rewatch our video almost everyday and share with family and friends.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend working with Darnell and Forever Filmworks. Initially, he was responsive during the contracting phase, but once we paid our balance before the wedding, the communication dwindled drastically. In the week leading up to our wedding, we reached out due to the lack of communication, only to be informed that someone else would be filming our event. The videographer who arrived was wonderful, and in hindsight, we wished we had worked with him from the start, as we had no idea how negative our experience would turn out to be. After the wedding we were excited to receive our trailer, but when the contracted deadline passed without any word from Darnell, we reached out for an update. Initially, we received no response, prompting us to follow up. When we finally heard back, he was rude and dismissive, acting as if we had come up with the deadlines that he himself had set in our contract. After two months of persistent follow-ups, we finally received our trailer, which left us deeply disappointed. We hardly shared it with our families. The clips felt randomly assembled, as if he had hurriedly clicked through the footage and tossed it into his editing software, overlooking many significant moments from our day. When we expressed our concerns, he remarked that although it was our wedding, it was his "art." Hearing him prioritize his artistic vision over showcasing our special day was disheartening. After countless exhausting conversations, initiated by us, it became evident that the happiness of the couple is not his priority. He overpromises and underdelivers, and seems to think couples should feel lucky to work with him whether he delivers a quality product or not. Fast forward, we’re now two months past when we were supposed to receive our complete film, and we have heard nothing from him regarding any delays or updates to our deadlines. His lack of professionalism and inability to communicate effectively with clients is more than challenging. After many follow-ups we finally received our film and were beyond upset- choppy edits, harsh jumps from music to speeches, none of the drone footage we were contracted for (and it was a beautiful day); it looks like I tried to make this video with no experience in video editing. Following our negative experience, we did more research and found many other couples who shared similar stories about Darnell. It is concerning that there are numerous reviews mirroring our experience on Facebook and other platforms, yet none on The Knot or Wedding Wire. If you are considering hiring Forever Filmworks, I strongly advise you to reconsider. The anticipation of receiving our wedding video has turned into a source of frustration, and we have lost much of our excitement. I also recommend following his Instagram to see how he posts about his clients, particularly brides. He often calls them out and posts complaints about their “unreasonable demands”, despite the fact that he does not deliver quality work or adhere to his own contracts. He has been extremely unprofessional and stands as the biggest regret of our wedding journey.
