We couldn't have picked a more perfect venue! It's absolutely beautiful and we got SO many compliments! Josh did great with keeping up on communications and making the planning stages very smooth for us. He was quick to answer questions and make sure I knew everything I needed to. Sue and Jeff did a awesome with helping throughout our days at the venue for the wedding. I would 100% recommend FBB to anyone looking for a gorgeous, rustic barn. It even comes with yummy house-made wine ;) Win-win!!

My daughter had her wedding there Oct 14,2023 We was told by Sue we would have heaters that was included. We also was told that the windows on the side doors would be in and that was not true. We picked this place due to its rustic appeal. They are also hard to get a hold of to answer questions, at the rehearsal We was told by Josh "No" on the heaters they don't use them to December. Now keep in mind temps was dropping in the 40's at night. Then was told that is extra for the propane and to dress for the weather. We did get 2 heater's but that was a hassle and didn't really work my guests was all cold. Didn't help that the wood on the sides was broken on the door and was letting a lot of cold air in. Then the day of the wedding as we are getting ready decorating and getting dressed they had 3 different tours. So that meant strangers walking around you and going upstairs when my girls was getting ready. My thoughts was I paid for that day that means that hall is mine that day not for them to bring different people in to see the place and do tours. The very last problem we had was Sue the owner went upstairs to yell at my hair stylist for parking on the grass just a little bit She made a scene and yelled at her which made all of us very uncomfortable. I hope this review helps you in deciding on your special day.

Just had a very negative experience with the management. Josh was unprofessional and would argue with the mother of the bride on the wedding day. And ate the food and just wandered around not doing anything.

Avoid this venue if communication, organization, and professionalism are important to you.

We booked our wedding and paid thousands of dollars months in advance. We later paid an additional $500 for a rehearsal dinner and believed everything was properly booked and secured. For approximately six months, nobody from the venue contacted us to tell us there was any issue with our paperwork or booking.

Then, only a few months before our wedding, we were suddenly dealing with scheduling conflicts and being told that the problem was a contract that had never been signed. While we eventually learned that a contract had not been signed, the venue had six months to contact us and address that issue. Instead, they continued accepting payments, including our rehearsal dinner payment, without ever notifying us that anything was missing.

What made the situation even worse was being made to feel like we were responsible for the stress caused by the venue’s own booking and communication failures. We were left feeling blamed for problems that could have been addressed months earlier with a simple phone call, email, or text message.

The owner called my fiancée during this situation and yelled at her. No bride should have to deal with that while planning her wedding. It was completely unprofessional and only added more stress to an already frustrating situation.

By the end of this ordeal, we had completely lost confidence in the venue. While refunds were ultimately provided, the experience was stressful, disappointing, and avoidable.

We moved our wedding elsewhere and have no regrets about doing so.
