Food Company Catering & Special Events is a full service, certified women owned, boutique caterer founded in 1992, with a client base in New Jersey, Manhattan and Connecticut. We pride ourselves in creating unique events from casual to black tie formal. Rather than one signature dish, Food Company writes custom menus, based on each client’s tastes and budget, utilizing only the finest ingredients from local purveyors.

From the initial contact to the last plate cleared, we are caring and detail oriented and will work together with you to create a fabulous party. Weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs Engagement parties, Communions and other milestone events are our specialty. We offer full party planning service and will be delighted to assist you in arranging for tenting, rentals, linens, decorations, entertainment and photography. Tricia and her staff at the Food Company made my wedding day!! Their food is absolutely exquisite -- the freshness and selection of foods is unbeatable, and their creations -- appetizers, salads, entrees -- are some of the best food I have ever had. So many guests raved about the food and I was thrilled that everyone enjoyed the dining experience. Tricia also did a great job with the flowers for the wedding and the set-up of the venue. All the bouquets and centerpieces were absolutely stunning, and the set-up of the room -- including the rentals of chairs, linens, and china -- was perfect. The best part was that Tricia dealt with all my vendors and was present the entire night to ensure everything went smoothly -- and everything did! I could not have envisioned a better wedding and I thank Tricia and her team so much for making it a perfect day and so hassle-free to plan.

Food Company is wonderful1!!! They are a family business and they treat you like family. The food is amazing and Tricia is a wonderful event planner. She planned my wedding exactly as I had imagined it and better. It was romantic and special and I didn't worry about a thing except for enjoying myself all day. You will not go wrong if you book with Food Company. I am excited for the next event I can use them for.

Food Company was an incredible caterer, and really made our wedding a beautiful, classy affair. We wanted a very specific menu (dessert reception) and they worked with us every step of the way to develop our vision. Tricia had wonderful ideas and recommendations, but also was very flexible about including what we wanted.

Our venue required us to bring in everything, and Tricia coordinated all of our rentals. We supplied our own alcohol, and the company supplied sodas, mixers, etc. The waitstaff and buffet servers were skilled and impeccably dressed.

From the finest details, such as the napkin colors and tablecloths, to the grand chocolate fountain and wedding cake, everything was executed perfectly. We could not have been more pleased, and wholeheartedly recommend Food Company!
