We met Janel Conlan & Focus Photography Inc through our wedding coordinators. Janel made photo taking so easy & comfortable for us first timers :) We actually chose a very busy location on a very hot summer day for our engagement photos & had a blast taking pictures. We LOVED our engagement pictures!! Janel was beyond patient & professionally fast & creative :) A perfect pre-show to our wedding day picture taking. We had a very large wedding party & opted to do a first look. Janel & her team coordinated time so well we had a chance for our special & intimate reveal, take traditional & fun pictures w/ our wedding party & still made it on time to the ceremony. All while laughing & having a great time. We cannot thank you enough Janel! Can't wait to see our wedding photos & video :)

Where do I even begin?? Janel is absolutely amazing!! She is so awesome to work with and makes the entire process so much fun! She is so sweet and was so helpful with everything - which is so important on your wedding day! And the engagement photos were also blast to take. I'm so happy I found Focus Photography, I couldn't imagine having anyone else for my big day! The photos turned out stunning and something that I will always cherish for years to come. And I am so happy that we hired them for video too - I've watched my video over and over and I still can't get enough of it. Anna did such an awesome job - it's like I'm reliving those moments! These girls are incredible! Not only did they provide Aaaamazing photos they are affordable too! Both photographers are so professional and cool. I cannot thank Janel and Caitlin enough for our amazing photos. My husband and I are totally over the moon!! Janel and Caitlin captured the very essence of the Bahamas and of our happiness in every photo and actually managed to make me photogenic! The photographs are everything I could have hoped for and more - each time I look at them - they take my breath away. On the day, Janel and Caitlin were FANTASTIC - they helped to calm our nerves, fix my veil, offer guidance (10 minutes before the ceremony!!) when/how to walk down the aisle, attached my husband's boutonniere when he didn't have a clue! I stumbled across Focus photography after endless hours of wedding photographer research. Their style was exactly what I was looking for, vintage and modern.
On my wedding day, Caitlin and her helper took the most beautiful pictures. I’m soo glad we hired them and not the other guy who was a few bucks cheaper. I highly recommend them and.. I think my review’s really not necessary because their photos speak for themselves. I love love my photos!

Janel is amazing; simply put! My mom is a photographer and she always told me that there are really only three things that will last forever after your wedding day; your husband, your ring and your photos (your memories will go at some point... Hahaha...). Because of this we really researched our wedding photographer and are so happy that we picked Focus Photography, Inc. After spending hours browsing through the websites of many different photographers for my wedding, I came across Focus Photography and knew they were exactly what I was looking for. We hired Janel and Caitlin for our wedding, and our package also included an engagement session and a boudoir session (my husband only found that one out on our wedding day!) All three sessions with the girls were a TON of fun - Janel and Caitlin are a perfect balance of professional, talented, and fun to be around.

By the time our wedding day came these two felt like old friends, and my husband and I had a great time shooting with them throughout our big day. They are very efficient, reliable, and timely, all the while full of great ideas and creative angles, and they make it super comfortable to be in front of the camera. (A very important trait in a photographer!)

I can't say enough good things about these two, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
