Amazing Experience!

Stunning and delicious

From the moment you arrive for tasting with your bride & groom names listed for private tasting hour at their door to day of cake reveal, this shop was great to work with! We had some particular flavors during the tasting we swapped out for the regularly recommended menu listings, and all were so delicious. Our guests loved the chocolate cake with chocolate peanut butter frosting and chocolate hazelnut frosting. Emily is great at responding to emails, her website is well organized. Her portfolio on there is spectacular!

Delicious, edible art!

Emilee was so amazing to work with. Not only is she extremely talented, but she is so kind and really worked with us to make sure our wedding cake was just how we imagined! With COVID, we had to move the location of our wedding to a different state, and Emilee was more than happy to change our date with us, and she set us up with a cooler to help us transfer the cake safely. Could not recommend this bakery more!!

Couldn't Be Happier

We chose Flour Child for our wedding cake because we had visited the bakery before. During the cake tasting, there were no bad options, so we knew we were going to be happy with whatever we chose. Emilee was detailed and professional. She was even willing to allow us to add cake cups to our order after giving things more thought. We were SO glad we added the cake cups. Our guests loved them. Our cake was delivered to our venue and set up perfectly. It was so nice not to have to worry about our cake, knowing it was in perfect hands.

Beautiful cake

Our cake was so beautiful and delicious! Everyone raved about it. I think the photo speaks for itself. Also, the top was gluten free and just as delicious as the rest of the cake!

Looked great, and tastes even better

So glad we found "Flour Child". Not only was the cake exactly what we wanted - simple, delicious, good value - working with Emilee was great. She was always very responsive. Coordinating the cake tasting samples was easy. She worked directly with our venue with delivery and no issues. We went with the vanilla cake with vanilla cream filling. It was perfect. I didn't want anything complicated and this worked perfectly. Definitely recommend. Thank you Emilee!

Wonderful baker and artist

When I began searching for my cake baker, I had contacted a few bakeries in the Treasure Valley. I was looking for a skilled baker who can produce a delicious and memorable cake, but also an artist who can display something truly unique. Emilee at Flour Child out shined all the bakeries I spoke with. I put her up to the challenge of making a fantasy-like dragon wedding cake. I imagined a show stopper cake for my husband who is obsessed with dragons. The finished product was just stunning. The top tier of our cake was vegan and it was just as delicious as the rest of it. We got many compliments on the intricate details of the dragon and the amazing flavor of our banana chocolate cake.
Emilee herself is incredibly helpful to work with. She responded to my emails quickly and answered the hundreds of questions I had. She certainly came across as someone I could trust and absolutely proves herself through her work.

I was so very happy with how Emilee was quick to respond to any Questions. The was delivered early as requested by them. Showed up beautiful and so delicious! I’m so happy we chose them. We will definitely use them for other events in the future!
