About First Parish in Lexington
First Parish in Lexington is a beautiful, historic building which stands at the back of the Battle Green where the Revolutionary War began on April 19, 1775. The period chandeliers, pews made of pine and melodic 1897 Hutchings organ create a romantic and memorable setting for your important day.
First Parish welcomes wedding inquiries from people of all backgrounds, whether a member of the church or not.
As a liberal church we seek to recognize and support the worth and dignity of every human being, to embrace an evolving faith in harmony with reason, to comfort and encourage people in their times of joy, sorrow and need, and to help its members live out their values in their daily lives.
