Facilities and Capacity
First Church Congregational, built in 1796, features a traditionally elegant atmosphere of stained glass windows, a vaulted ceiling, and rich, dark woods throughout where up to 250 of your guests can enjoy your wedding ceremony in historic beauty. First Church is also the home of the beautiful “Resurrection Window” by the artist, John LaFarge. This window, fashioned of opalescent glass, is well known for its special beauty. Due to its historical significance and unique gothic architecture, First Church Congregational is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. With such beautiful and original features, First Church can provide an elegant backdrop for your wedding ceremony and timeless wedding photography.
First Church Congregational offers a few services in their starting site fee, such as access to a gorgeous bridal suite and event planning services. The church also provides clients with audio equipment, has ample parking, and provides wheelchair access for disabled guests.

Beautiful inside and out
I loved every moment of my wedding at First Church. There isn't a church in the area that meets it's beauty, with the amazing stained glass windows and gorgeous historic organ. It was the perfect place for my perfect day.Sent on 02/24/2019
