Facilities and Capacity
First Church Congregational, built in 1796, features a traditionally elegant atmosphere of stained glass windows, a vaulted ceiling, and rich, dark woods throughout where up to 250 of your guests can enjoy your wedding ceremony in historic beauty. First Church is also the home of the beautiful “Resurrection Window” by the artist, John LaFarge. This window, fashioned of opalescent glass, is well known for its special beauty. Due to its historical significance and unique gothic architecture, First Church Congregational is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. With such beautiful and original features, First Church can provide an elegant backdrop for your wedding ceremony and timeless wedding photography.
