I became acquainted with Chris and Rachel's work after they took beautiful head shots and photos of a music group I was in with Chris' brother. I remembered his outstanding work when looking for a wedding photographer, and contacted him for a meeting. We knew after looking at just a few pictures from Chris and Rachel's wedding portfolio that we wanted to hire them!

Chris and Rachel work as a team, so if you book them they'll both be there to photograph your event. We got married in the "off season" so their rate was reduced, but they were VERY reasonably priced, especially considering that you'll get two excellent photographers out of the deal! They were very friendly and polite during the planning process, and quick to respond to correspondence. They were prompt the day of the wedding, and jumped right in without causing any disruption to anything that was going on. During the formal picture taking session, they were very organized, already had plenty of ideas in mind, and gave us clear direction. No time was wasted and the picture session never got tedious!

My husband and I got our photos exactly one month after our wedding date, and we were absolutely blown away! We got around 500 pictures, and literally every single one of them was stunning. Chris and Rachel are very observant and unobtrusive while they're working, and they tend to focus on capturing candid moments rather than posed ones. The end result was a set of pictures that told a story. Going through them was like reliving the whole day, from start to finish! The pictures were very real and an honest, beautiful reflection of our event. We couldn't be happier with them! I would recommend First Blush without hesitation to anyone looking for a photographer for a wedding, or any other event!

Photography is extremely important to my daughter; she carries a Nixon in her bag 24/7. So selecting a photographer was one of the biggest challenges to be met. She selected First Blush and, as usual, she knew exactly what she was doing. Chris and Rachel were amazing! Their photos not only capture the people who shared in Barbara and Nick's special day, they captured the joy and celebration that we all felt. And they totally got and supported Barbara and Nick's infinite details; details that reflected their love for family and friends and their desire for every individual to enjoy their time at the wedding and reception. Getting the big stuff is easy... just have people pose and say cheese. But Chris and Rachel turned the ordinary into the extraordinary! They caught so many unique and special moments on camera so that we can relive this special day for the rest of our lives. And they weren't just the photographers to us and the guests, they were part of the wedding, the reception, the bridal party, and the family. They made these really awesome robot outfits for Barbara and Nick that are adorable and added to the reception fun. I originally had contacted First Blush to take some corporate head shots for me, as I had recently graduated from law school. I subsequently decided to have some casual photos taken as well. I cannot say enough great things about my photographer, Christopher Padgett. He has an excellent eye for photography and was so easy to work with. I couldn't be happier with my photos. The artistry and imagination shines through his photography. Most importantly perhaps, the photos session was so fun and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone I know.
