If you are having your wedding in the Leesburg area-select Robie to do your flowers! She did an amazing wild flower boquet for me that I absolutely LOVED! My mother and I picked flowers for the centerpieces the week of the wedding which was such a relaxing thing for us to do together! Robie and her husband are so sweet to work with! They welcomed us into their home and she felt like a family member helping us! :)

This is an excellent way to save money and support the local economy. I would say if you don't really care what kind of flowers you have but want something really pretty--go to Fields of Flowers. They have a wonderful variety and are very kind. The owner save peonies for me in her refrigerator for three weeks up to my wedding! I was so grateful and they were the most beautiful wedding flowers I have ever done (I do flowers for friends weddings).

Robbie at Fields of Flowers was wonderfully helpful and I would highly recommend fields of flowers for anyone wanting to pick their own wedding flowers. You can do everything from picking to bouquets and arrangements or she can do it all - and everything in between. We got three times as many flowers as we could have gotten from a traditional florist. The only thing I would caution is you are taking a risk with the weather and the flower farm being overpicked when you get there. We had tornados come through the week before the wedding and since Robbie knew what we wanted she picked and saved some for us before the tornado hit.

This florist is an unbelievable value! She owns and operates her own flower farm, so prices are basically wholesale. Perhaps even better, the flowers are gorgeous. She provided me with my bouquet, which far exceeded my expectations, bouquets for my three bridesmaids, a table arrangement for the ceremony, and she set up our centerpieces for me for which she provided single blooms. You can't beat the value that Fields of Flowers provides.

Robbie is very down-to-earth and easy to work with. She and her husband know this area very well and have some interesting stories--very sweet people, who remind me of the people I grew up around in my rural dairy-farming community in PA. Our wedding was April 30, so I knew the availability of specific flowers would be difficult to predict...last year, everything was late, this year, everything was early. As a result, we were in a weird in-between time for flowers. It looked like Robbie had to supplement her own flowers pretty heavily, as I had asiatic lilies, roses, and hydrangeas in my bouquets and table arrangements (none of which are spring flowers). However, everything looked pretty and her value was excellent. The only mishap was the guys' boutonnieres, which were very cute lily-of-the-valley, but had wilted beyond any hope of revival by cocktail hour. Overall, excellent value and nice results, and lovely people to work with.
