One thing that surprised me is that they do not accept returns, only a sort of consignment/trade in. This might be too big a risk for an online shopper. The appraised value listed on Fay Cullen's website was about 200% inflated, but the ultimate price we paid was fair, according to a local estate jeweler. Be sure to do your research on any piece you consider buying. The center stone was less brilliant than we expected however I attribute this to it being older ring made with older technology.

Don't do it!! My husband bought me a beautiful vintage wedding ring from them. Right after I got it I had it sized. My jeweler said the ring was very flawed. It had beautiful bezel set sapphires surrounding and diamond. So I had to it was so I started wearing it within the first week to myself I just fell out so I called they told me. They said since I had it sized there was nothing they could do. I had it sized down one quarter so it was not like I had greatly changed the structure of the rain. And then I have bought many pieces throughout the years from this jewelry store they are an independently-owned very reputable place that have been in business since 1950. After spending thousands of dollars on the train I've been had to spend almost $1,100 on repairs to have the head of the Rings completely rebuilt since it was shattered. I don't even remember how much money is spent on The Sapphires themselves I lost approximately 6 of them and they all had to be custom cut. The people from faycullen were very you could not have cared less. This is definitely a site where the Rings are pretty to look at but not too buy. I wish I had done more background checks on the company before I made my purchase and I would have seen all the negative remarks.
