On our 2 year wedding anniversary I can’t stop thinking about how much I loved my hair and makeup on my wedding day! Emily is truly talented and experienced! I am very picky with my hair and makeup & have never truly loved any hair and makeup I have gotten done before, but everything that Emily did with my hair and makeup was perfect! My skin glowed- my foundation looked so flawless, my eye shadow and lipstick color were perfect! & my Hollywood waves gave me the perfect amount of volume! My look was everything thing I had told her I wanted! & Both my hair and makeup lasted all night!


Emily is so sweet & easy to talk to! I had questions prior to my wedding and she was easy to communicate with! I was also able to do a trial prior to my wedding which was Very helpful ! I knew right away during the trial I would book her! I had a hard time looking for makeup / hair artist who are more familiar with Asian features so I am glad I found Emily!

I would highly recommend Emily to everyone for their special day as they will not be disappointment. If given the opportunity I would book Emily again to do my hair & makeup for future life events ! Thank you Emily for making me feel beautiful & special on such a special day!

We had an amazing experience with Faces by Emily on our wedding day! A talented artist from their team came in the morning and did the makeup for my mom, sister, and sister-in-law. The results were absolutely stunning, and everyone looked beautiful.

The artist was professional, friendly, and incredibly skilled, making everyone feel comfortable and confident. The makeup lasted all day and night, and we received so many compliments on how great everyone looked.

Emily did my hair and makeup for my engagement shoot and wedding day. I couldn't have asked for a better hair and makeup team. Including myself, we were a party of 8 ladies (bridesmaids and one mama). Emily and her team made me and my girls look so glamorous. They arrived on time. They were very professional and finished on time. I couldn't recommend her enough.

Finding a makeup artist was one of the to-do’s I struggled with the most. Everything about it is subjective, every face is unique and no amount of looking at portfolios would tell me how an artist would make ME look. What one artist could do for another person would be totally different for me so I was very cautious. I knew I wanted a fresh, natural but emphasized look. I wanted my nicest features enhanced and essentially still look like myself but on a very good day.

I feel very fortunate to have found Emily. After thoroughly browsing her portfolio, I saw some brides who share similar features with me so I felt encouraged to inquire. All of the communication was done by email but I never felt that it was lacking as Michelle, her studio manager, replies so so fast and was transparent with all information. I booked a trial a week before my wedding at Emily’s studio. She is so sweet and very talented! I showed her some photos of what I wanted and she was great about interpreting my preferences. She gave me a ton of input on what worked/didn’t work and how to achieve the look I wanted. We tried a few options on my eyes and hair styles and thanks to the trial were able to hone in on a look. I felt very at ease. I wore the look all day for my engagement photos and it aged very well.

On the day of, Emily and Amy arrived early and got right to work. Amy worked on my bridesmaids and gave them a fresh, natural look and fun curls. They all looked lovely - Amy was able to pull it off with no problem. Emily worked on my mom and I. She made the corrections and made me look beautiful, glowy and fresh. Even my bridal updo was stunning and completed that soft, feminine look I was going for. The makeup also aged very well and survived despite wind, drizzle, dancing, food and lots of happy tears.

Really happy I booked Emily and I highly recommend her. She is so worth the investment and it’s a small price to pay for feeling (and looking like) like a million bucks on my wedding day!

Emily & her team are amazing and super talented in what they do. I only interviewed one make up artist and the moment I met Emily, I was SOLD! She is so easy to work with and is super personable. Not only she made me look beautiful, but made me feel beautiful. The day of the wedding, she did such an amazing job on my make up and hair, it lasted all night long and I was glowing. I truly felt like I was a princess :) Her team did my bridesmaid make up and also my parents, and they were SO impressed and after they can't stop talking about how amazing and talented they are. Everyone was so satisfied and appreciative of their work. Emily and her team are exceptional. You will be in good hands, guaranteed! I would pick them all over again with no doubts!

I was looking for a make-up and hair artist for my wedding and a friend recommended Emily. Not knowing much about her work, I contacted her for a trial. When I met her, she listened carefully and considered what I liked and didn't like about various styles. I wanted a natural look for both the wedding ceremony and the photos and she accomplished just that! I am not sure how she did it but all my guests commented on how good my make up looked on my special day. Thanks so much Emily!

Emily and her team were AMAZING artists. There were a lot of things I was nervous about on my big day, but my make-up was DEFINITELY NOT one of them because I know I was in the hands of the BEST. I remembered going for a trial with Emily and had absolutely no idea what kind of look I wanted, but Emily was able to design a look for me that blew my mind and it was PERFECT. She is definitely an amazing artist and her team was also able to provide beautiful looks for my bridesmaids and family. I LOVED working with Emily and her team because they were not only there to provide amazing services but they are also very fun girls to talk and work with. She is one of the BEST make-up artists, so BOOK early if you are considering Emily and her team! =)

I enlisted Emily and some of her team to help me and my bridesmaids with our makeup and hair for my wedding this past October. She and the other makeup artists did such an amazing job! Everyone was so professional and arrived promptly as scheduled. They worked super efficiently and we were actually able to finish ahead of schedule (which is amazing for a wedding!). Emily also does a terrific job of making you feel at ease, which helps to relieve some of the stress of the big day. I'm so thankful for her and her team and the incredible work they did!
