I got married in June of 2019 and Emani had to do 13 people including myself and my mother. She was on time professional and she took her time I didn't feel rushed as bride she made me feel so special and beautiful and she also touch me up in between changing dresses

Emani responded quickly when I initially reached out. She was professional, and she asked relevant questions to make sure she understood what I wanted on wedding day. I was sick the night before my trial day and I remember her being pleasant and making sure I was comfortable the day of. I knew I liked her work from pics that I saw but the trial day allowed me to determine if I liked it on ME. I ended up loving my makeup and didn’t feel like I looked like someone else. I just felt like a glammed up version of me and that’s what I wanted. On wedding day, she arrived on time, had a schedule in place, and her work was consistently pretty in terms of what I wanted for myself and my bridesmaids. She also had an assistant with her and the assistant MUA also did makeup in a style that was very similar to Emani’s- which is important bc you don’t want your bridal party looking like they got their makeup done by different people, even when they did. There was consistency with the looks across the board. One last thing for any lowkey girls like me: I don’t usually like to be posted online, nor do I tend to post anything myself, and I find that some beauty professionals today sort of get annoyed with people who don’t want to be filmed. She did get some content to show her work of course, but I don’t feel like Emani pressured me or made me feel uncomfortable for not wanting to be constantly filmed or photographed on my wedding day. I plan to be a return client for special events and would recommend her to those girlies looking for a quality MUA, who does consistently pretty work, and who can apply makeup beautifully on a variety of skin tones.
